"After 400 hours of practice, I can set this up in 20 minutes!"
That's what I was thinking.
😂😂😂
10hrs later….she’s still showing us 😂⛺️
Came here for the same comment "doesn't take long to setup"
4 hours later😂
Geez! I’m worn out and she doesn’t have walls up yet.
100% was going to post this lol
We had a hybrid camper with two pop outs and going from setting that up to a travel trailer with power slide was like a vacation lol this looks awful !
Imagine doing this after driving for 6 hours and you get to your destination it’s 50 degrees getting dark out and raining … no
I can pitch a tent faster!
Only?!?!
$34k for a tent with wheels. I’d be embarrassed to tell anyone about that. You can buy an actual travel trailer with a kitchen and bathroom for half that and probably something to pull it with too.
You can get a Tiguan a few years old for about 17-18 in good shape. A small Scamp might be about...12?
The weight difference being?
That is a lot of money for a tent on wheels and if you don’t have the garage spase to store it in you’ll have to pay to store it inside somewhere to prevent mold and mildew growing on the canvas/synthetic walls. And dry rot is a possibility after a few years depending on the climate where are you live.
I about choked when I looked up the price. It's a cool design but not $34k cool
Lo siento pero ni regalada lo recibo. Mucho trabajo. Y nada comoda
33k and I still have to sleep in a sleeping bag on the foor?! GTFO
- you can now build a bed...
Save 32800, buy 200$ tent and call it a day
And you dont need a trailer, is fits in your trunk
Comment certainly made my day, lol. Thanks.
Truth. I can access virtually any campsite in California with a Honda civic and my tent and sleeping bag and stove. Sometimes I put all that shit in a backpack and walk to other campsites!
😂😂😂
@@parkercushingablethat would be the only reason I’d ever visit California willingly 😂
This comment section should give the company a decent idea what the public thinks about their product 😂
You could literally buy a nice used truck and a very nice used travel trailer with a full kitchen and complete bathroom for that price.
So water tanks can only be accessed to fill after spending hours assembling this thing.
Just shows how little thought was put into it.
I was wondering about that too. They also don't look very large.
That's fuckin nuts, for 33K you could tow something 6 times that size that an adult can actually stand up inside of.
Exactly. I bet that think is cold asf. I also bet its heavy asf for the weight. Slide out cooler... ill just trunk one.
That's a lot of money for a tent trailer. You have to put most of it together yourself .
Exactly. I laughed because I got my new Lance for that kind of money.
For 33 k u buy an appartment in argentina
Yes but you would also need a much larger tow rig...so get ready to spend even more.
33k and the roof is still fucking canvas
$33,950 so call it $34K
The real folding roof is a legendary level mod that no human has yet gotten the intelligence level to achieve.
Ya, it would be cheaper to get a flat bed trailer stick wood walls up and put a canvas top on. No set up and everything else can just be placed inside.
@@juliawilson4495 right or just buy and old box truck and build it.
There was no way you can set that up in British Columbia, Canada you would be eaten. 😂🇨🇦
The markup is ridiculous. Something like this should be $5,000 at the most.
It's just a tent on wheels.
I pull my 5th wheel into a space set my landing jacks and disconnect the truck. Next i push the auto level button and 5 minutes later all done.
I'm in a motor home we just park. Maybe use the jacks if there wasn't a level place to park on the site. But we have auto-leveling too so yeah even with the jacks it takes barely any time.
A big tent sets up faster and does not cost $33K
Now my back hurts.
Plus, you can add a woodstove
Right I'm like.... it's got to be a joke roght?
But this tent comes with wheels 😅
Do lesbians set up big tents?
Wait till you close up in the rain
Great point
Yeah I love the smell of a mouldy camper 😂
Oh if it was Only THAT simple😂😂😂
My thoughts exactly and what to do with a grizzly bear.
@@cinbird6284Bear Spray…..
I wanna see the takedown part to make it all fit back right in the end (after it has been set up for more than a few hours to lose the dents & creases)
Don't buy it. A friend has one and the company who builds them won't do any warranty repairs or even make sure all the parts are with it.
No way I would waste that kind of money on this.
Alright I'm just going to go to Wally world and buy a $40 the most house band
@@mikemartinez8739 a $40 the most house band? What are you talking about?
34K? Are you joking? 😂
We had a pop-up camper growing up in the 70's. I remember my dad saying, "Why does it always rain when I have to set this thing up?"
I'll take rain setting it up over taking it down in rain any day (mold)
You'll be an 85yrs old by the time you get done seriously 😂😂😂
“No not at all”. Then proceeds to play video at 2x speed. 😂😂😂
And cut out a lot of footage. Does anyone else get tired ads lie and deceiving?
@@juliherron8991 No, not at all. I totally believe people jump out of aeroplanes over the outback so they can skysurf in to an isolated roadhouse to get a cold coke mid-journey.
Literally took 4 ever, I’m not even sure if she ever finished “showing” us. And $33,000 for that piece of sh!t?????
😂😂😂
And...... it is empty. Where is all the gear. 😂
Doesn't take that long to set up... proceeds to set up for the rest of the video at 2x speed😂
Grizzly bears call these "brown bag lunches"...
LMAO... You got me rolling
Yeah, I was thinking that camping in Yellowstone with that may not qualify as a hard-sided camper.
Even being sped up that took awhile .... Also the price is insane ...
It took 60 seconds sped up and a total of seven minutes from start to end
@Astro-JI believe the person posting this is just the messenger or in this case the in poster.
@Astro-Jhave you watched this channel at all? He shows all sorts of camping stuff
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventuresYou forgot about the time it takes to earn $34k to blow on a tent. You can get the same functionally from a tent worth $340.
@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures where is the bed? The gear? In the second trailer. 😂
What in the fuckin horrible idea is this? They're trying to sell $500 worth of materials dressed up as a Decepticon manual transforming camper (old lady not included).
what she doesnt come with it ( shes hot )
" I betcha it takes forever to set up. "
"No, not at all. I'll show you."
Literally takes forever to set up. 🤦♂️
Try doing that in a pouring down rain and /or at night and try and get all the mosquitos killed after its set-up.
Or a windy day.
Omg I hadn't even thought of what it'd be like with the mosquito swarms you get some places. It wouldn't be safe to go in, it'd be full of them!
You can get a 30ft used 2021 coleman RV fir $33k
You can buy a bus for 5.
You don't even want a 2021 RV. Go pre-pandemic. Saves money and generally better build quality.
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Of course you can. And then you can spend $50,000 replacing all the worn moving parts, ripping out the interior and building your own set-up inside it. And two years later you're ready to hit the road and "camp".
May as well just buy a 10 person tent and save thousands
Seriously, you could get a 10 person tent and then the airfare for 10 people to fly somewhere nice to camp.
@@firesgt911and repeat it again and still have money leftover.
This is way better than the old campers. The old ones opening that door and enjoying you time with your family.
I seriously like the tacky af decor in the Winnebago Indians ("Leisure Seeker.") Bright maroon and a chandelier? Bring it on. Too bad old vehicles are notoriously problematic. So SICK of the horrible greige that's back in very ugly vogue.
For half that price you could get a towable camper that has a flat screen, tempurpedic bed and a full bathroom. This is crazy. It’s essentially a fancy tent that takes even longer to set up.
For that price. I'll bet uou could buy a used Tiguan or something AND a used Scamp-like thing. 13 feet?.1500 lbs or so
Takes too long to setup. Even in FFW
No, just NO! This is merely a tent and the bears are going to make a meal out of you.
Bears gotta eat, too. 😂
LMAO 😂😅😮
I'm more worried about people w knives coming to get you. Someone actually stole someone's kid from something like this! Early 70s.
We used to have a plywood/canvas affair, on ski's, that was the exactly the same design. We used it as an ice fishing hut :)
It's nice to see everybody's thinking the same thing for once
Why do you care what others think??? 🤡
That’s a lot of effing work!
Jeezalou the lengths people go to to do outdoors without actually doing outdoors
To be fair some of this stuff (motorhomes, travel trailers) can make the outdoors much more accessible. I have arthritis in my back and tent camping is pretty much a no-go for me because I haven't found a bed set up that doesn't make my back agony in the morning. With my RV I can have a normal mattress set at a good height for me and it makes a big difference. As much as possible I have the windows open n stuff though so I don't feel all shut up.
that's literally the most involved setup of any kind of camp dwelling ever. From tent to tour bus size RV I've literally never seen something that takes more convoluted steps. I'm actually wracking my brain trying to think of a more involved setup and I'm literally drawing a blank haha.
With our motorhome (36ft) it might take the same amount of time to get *fully* set up - like if we got out the camping chairs and set up the awning and all of that outdoors stuff. (Chairs, outdoor mat to help keep dirt out of the RV, the dog's bed, the dog's outdoor water bowl, awning, extra shade panel on awning if needed, little camp table for if my SO wants to do work outside on his laptop, outdoor cooking set up for using the grill, etc. Plus mosquito repellent things.)
As long as it took you i had 2 beers
All right a camper with pre engineered roof leaks
I thought they all had that
Jeepers by the time she’s sets it all up the vacation is over and it’s time to start packing up! ✌🏽😜
"Jeepers"
@@pantone41 ✌🏽🤓😜
Imagine setting up the whole thing and then someone comes alongs and says you can't camp here it's private property
"It goes together quickly!" Proceeds to show video at 10x speed.
Wayyyyyy to much work. Drives me nuts just watching this😮
Not $33K worth. But this would be nice for someone who likes to go on weekend camping trips regularly and is getting tired of doing the whole rent thing. Maybe if it was under $15K more weekend campers would consider buying this
Yes but by the time you set this all up the weekend is over and it’s time to pack it all up! ✌🏽😜
@@Knuckledragnation💀
A nice pop-up camper at less than half the price would be a better option for someone like that.
Maybe for someone without towing capacity of a real rv, but imo only worth 5k at best
It's a very heavy tent. I'll bet mine weighs less.
That price, even though only msrp, is insane.
If I’m going to work that hard, I’ll just set up my old tent. ⛺️
I would say the actual value at the most, is $10,000. It has some good features but it is grossly overpriced.
I was thinking $5k to $7.5k not even $10k
Not a camper, a glorified, expensive TENT !
Legend has it. He's still out there setting it up.
Can’t wait until Michael Bay adds this one to the next Transformers movie 🎥 🍿
How to make a terrible buisness decision in 30 seconds or less😂
Or you could buy like 5 campers/motor homes for the same price. Toilet and sink included.
For this price, you could buy a lightly used small truck and small camper
33k and you have to shit and shower outside. Hell a $30 tent gives me the same experience in half the time 😂😂
$ 33,950 …. for that? Are you nuts? Is it made of gold?
What a pain! A good display of the reasons for not getting one...
Its a neat concept but the lack of storage inside during transport makes the size at the end pretty useless.
bro i was just thinking that, sure when its opened up there is "tons of space" but all that space disappears when its folded.
The real test, at night, in the rain and high winds.
I just imagine snow and rain and any novelty is erased.
The comments reflect what i thought when i saw the price. Cool but pricey.
I wish real life had a fast forward button.
For 33 grand I’m buying a used 24 foot motorhome.
Used scamp and mid SUV! Both for 33k.
Easy is pressing a button, that’s construction sir 🤦🏾♂️
Easy is being smart enough to buy a Scamp, where the walls are up already.
That price & still has the cheapest roof imaginable plus, yes, it does look like a hell of a process to set up. No way in hell.
It takes a weekend to put it on and pack it up - you can sleep during the week back home.
Tent, buddy.
It's a tent.
The demonstrator is exactly what I would picture with some trash camper like this!
😂😂😂😂Exactly what I was thinking. Someone who has they/them pronouns, blue hair, and a criminal government pension.
In the rain would be even better
Unbelievably super cool, Look at all of the things that can break and go wrong.
My 30' travel trailer which is nothing fancy was $14,500. Back it in, disconnect from truck, plug in power, set up stabilizer jacks, done.
$34000 vs a nice tent for what… $500?
- well a canvas tent may be more than 500, but not 67x.... (even with a 2 axle box trailer and all the kit to make it liveable.)
Yeah you're right, it does take forever...
And it looks like two persons were putting it together, not just one.
proceeds to take forever to setup even when footage is cut ...
The compact design serves zero purpose other than to piss off the owner having to assemble and disassemble it. There are far better compact designs. Now imagine that canvas is dirty and wet. And you pack it up......stuck inside that hot containment. The designers care little for the longevity of this bare bones monstrosity. It's like when you have a bad idea and just shrug and keep moving forwards coming up with solutions to a bad idea!
the funny part is a traditional popup takes less time, costs less, and has beds, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom all indoors. for half the price of this
That man knows how to put together the camper.👍💪💪
That's a woman 🙄
Hahahahaaaaaaaa
We got a small caravan after testing out pop ups and fold outs like this. We had rainy days and we were like HELL NO to this sort of thing. We love our small fry van.
Vans are way too narrow. I couldn't imagine paying over 100k for one.
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 we paid $1,000 for ours (our bio photo). It has a Queen bed, table and benches and a toilet.
You hope it's not a rainy day to assemble it. Give me a caravan any day. Must be fun putting it away again lol
Wind flapping those walls all night. Nope. For the same price a little single axle 17' camper that you can actually stand in and load up with stuff.
For 34,000 it should open up by itself
For 33k you could get a fairly nice lightweight trailer. More comfortable and a heck of a lot less work.
I think a slightly smaller travel trailer would’ve been a whole lot easier, don’t you?
Tomorrow it can be slept in after the day of setting it up.
Looks like something walmart or Amazon would sell
Watched on my birthday... But the end of it I was celebrating my next birthday 😂
Imagine traveling and changing campsites every night or two.. this will get very old very fast 😅
ya 33,000 is absolutely insane 😂😂😂😂
"Tired of pop-up campers that take forever to set up turning that darn crank? Well I've invented one that takes longer even longer and has so many more steps!"
For that price you can get a real camper with insulation, proper appliances, etc.
Clever design. However a larger rv complete with everything (tv, stove, oven, beds, table and benches, hot water, sink, fridge, inside bathroom with toilet and shower, etc etc etc) s the same price and takes no time to set up.
Build quality sucks now, doesn't it? That's all I've been hearing. For 100k. Personally, I'd like something just enough, like a Scamp.
$33,000 is absurd!!
You could get a used 2014 to 2019 truck with a 6.5' bed with less than 80k miles. Then get a fiber glass cover with windows to go over the bed. To finish out inside of the bed you would get carpet padding that cover the whole inside build a bed and get a mattress. All of this would cost $11k to $15k and you would have a daily driver truck to not something you just use on the weekends.
And now the second trailer with all your stuff in it. 😂
No-no, you're supposed to own a Suburban.
Started Setting up Friday and finished by Sunday 😂😂😂ok put it away time to go home.
The Army needs this.. 🇺🇸
"Military intelligence?"
Aren't these the SAME people who bought Boxables, put them directly on the ground (no stoop), and figured out basic building: the stoop is there to stop water.
Heard they get moldy, too.
Too bad, GREAT idea. But like the BOAC planes w square windows, it doesn't look right. They both crashed.
Then. If they mess THAT up, what else did they do vastly wrong?
Keep it😂😂😂 that price is rediculous!! If you don’t have upper body strength you ain’t getting that roof up
My tent is bigger than that...air tubes very quick to inflate. It goes in the back of my car , costs about £600 in UK. Sleeps 10 people easily. But.....this video just shows that we can all enjoy the outdoors in any way we like....so good luck to her😊
OK, I will say it one more time. If this unit does not have a bath/shower combo, pass.
Those commenting that it takes long to set up haven’t set up a trailer! I have and it takes about the same time! Two people need to back it in then one goes inside and the other stays outside to set up and together it takes about that long! I think that would be great!!
It does take too long and when you're done for $34,000 you have a tent with a wooden floor. I in my 30' travel trailer that cost almost a $1,000 less have a full bedroom with a real bed, a full bath with a sink, shower and toilet, a full kitchen and a living room with 2 sofas one I f which folds out into a nicer bed than yours. You could get a pop-up for a third of the price of that thing that would be just as compact and much nicer.
