Front VW emblem badgeskin overlay for the Mk7.5 front smooth VW emblem how to video.
My 7.5 has the 3d badge and no sensor. It’s a 18 S. But I got black aftermarket badges off Etsy that fit perfectly and run underlays can swap colors anytime I want with a breeze :) and I like it MUCH better then having a black blob on the front of my black car lol badgeskins has some great underlay/overlay options for aftermarket badges or stock badges that are not smooth

No it’s not, the mk7 have the Radar in Front of the Radiator, which is about 15 cm under the badge

Our product does not affect the radar module at all! We have tested this for a very long time before releasing the product and have had 0 issues since our product was released!
This product is for MK7.5 vehicles only that have the smooth front emblem.

Won't be a problem. I have those small triangular windows wrapped in gloss black on the outside of the car and don't have any issues.

As long as you have the pre exsisting smooth front emblem it will work. If not you can either use the VW Overlay or buy the smooth front emblem from VW and retro fit it into the grille.
Curious to know, what are you using so that it doesn't affect the sensor? Also, can any of your badge offerings be interchanged with a 2019 TIguan?

The sensor works with radar technology, the sticker won`t affect functionality.
Thought the sensors were behind the grille at the front of the car...l?.
Is this the gloss black? Mines just came in and it doesn’t look like that color wise. Will it look glossy once it’s installed? Also mines didn’t come with the piece to cover the out line

Hey, so the backing is what makes the actual VW lettering and the silhouette is what creates the outline for the lettering. Your colour combo would be Red backing and silhouette Black. For the ring it is your choice as both options would look good! Hope that helps! Cheers!

Do I order the new logo or the old logo for my mk7.5? There are 2 options on the site. But now explanation which one I have to choose
New and old logo is just the style/design of the logo. You can see how it looks like in the product photos.
have a 2021 gti se how do i know if front emblem is considered smooth or not
Smooth Emblem will be flat so like in the video you can see we apply a "circle" piece as the backing. Non-smooth emblem will be 3D and can only use the "VW Overlay". Cheers!

@@pgrregion3219 Yeah, I just went with ordering the mk2 overlay. I don't imagine there was any drastic change in the size of emblem from one series to the next. Plus, you can't beat 8 bucks. I'm just dechroming, so my plan (if anyone cares lol) is to matte black spray can over the emblem and then slap on the gloss black overlay. Should do nicely.

Wouldn’t it be easier popping the VW Logo out of the Grille and apply the vinyl this way?
Actually it is much easier on the car because it will be solid and stable
Just pop out the whole grill, then plastidip the emblem and the chrome on the grill,
when u have the 3d emblem

Ich würde mir sowas nicht aufkleben. Wenn es zu einem Unfall kommt könnte die Versicherung die Zahlung verweigern, weil du durch den Aufkleber die ACC Sensoren gestört haben "könntest".
