    Owning a pizza oven has been one of the must fun things. You can make top quality pizzas at home and once you learn how to use them you will turn into a pizzaiolo in no time!

    So which do you prefer now the Roccbox or Karu

      I would say to use in the house Roccbox, but is very heavy...to take it camping etc... Karu which is much lighter...having said than once both on gas they are extremely well performing both of them

    If only gas option is used, do you think that Roccbox is better oven?

      I’ve never tried the only gas oonis and i am sure they are also very good, but i do love my roccbox (downside is that is very heavy) but dual fuel karu only make sense if you want to actually use wood

    I think the karu 12 is a great starting pizza oven you will eventually out grow.

      @@GetCooking the Gozzney Roccbox. The Roccbox can contain heat so much better. Just cooked 30 pizzas for a Super Bowl party and the Roccbox needed 0 time to allow the stone to regain temperatures. I have to actually lower the flame in between pizzas. If I don’t it will over cook the next pizza.

    But now, would you have bought the new glass door version?
    Still loving my karu, charcoal and wood, two years on.

      Ah! you can always spend more and get the fancier stuff...but to be honest do you really need the glass? i mean you know you need to turn the pizza every 20-30secs...i think the glass makes sense as ooni is trying to tell you to use their ovens for other stuff other than pizza....in which case i see the point...but if i need to make a roast i would use my weber...

    1. Why is the oven in the kitchen a bad thing for pizza?
    2. Do people actually use these often enough to justify the expense?

      1. Indoor is a fire hazard 2. Depends they cost 400£ a takeaway pizza is 15£…plus it is not just a financial decision, some people just like to make their own pizza

      @@GetCooking 800-900 degrees . Pizza cooks in under 90 seconds
