Ron Artest grew up in the Queensbridge Projects during the 80's-90's. Seeing bodies and hearing gunfights was a regular thing as a kid.
This is true. As a kid I’ve had a gun put to my head and ran from gunfire on a few occasions. I always thought I’d die young after getting shot in my hood. I love QB and I go back at least once a year, but I’m glad I made it out.
But how does that make you tough physically? Does it condition your face to take a punch? Does it harden your body to take a kick? It might do something for your mind but how do you know artest could have not gotten knocked out or choked out? Isnt there a reason why hood dudes go straight to guns?

If you see the full clip, Tyler made contact with Arrest in a way that seemed like he may be trying to bully Arrest. Tyler isn't a bully. So He looked Arrest in the eyes and let him know man to man, that it wasnt on purpose. There is nothing weak about that. It takes a man to put insecurity aside and be calm and rational in certain circumstances.
