How noisy is this motor? Can you have a conversation on the boat with this going ? I am looking at a boat with this motor and it is for family and friends
Not too bad. Much quieter then the carbureted 2 strokes. But definitely not as quiet as a 4 stroke. At cruising speeds you be able to communicate easily. At wide open, probably not.

I have the same boat and motor but my hole shot is not as good as your. What prop are you using on your 115 Optimax?
This was a customers boat. But I would suggest a 19 pitch 4 blade stainless
