It won’t be long and I’ll be back, probably this Sunday but I just allowed the “CZcams virus” to get into my head and began letting the worry of putting out an episode instead of the reality of responsibility get into my brain. I’ve got plenty of ideas but not enough time to implement.. and when you’re dealing with nature, it doesn’t always work with you.. you can waste an entire day and end up with nothing to show for it.. but i refuse to waste anyone’s time watching a useless video i made just to fill a spot.. y’all’s time is worth more than that.. so thanks for watching!! Willie,one of my biggest challenges has always been trying to repair broken rods,install new guides,maybe replace a broken handle ect. I do not know your experience in rod repairs,but would interested in this type of videos if you have done this before. Also I am a new subscriber and have repaired two of my Johnson reels by watching your videos. Really enjoy watching all of your content so far and appreciate your humor and wit.Thanks Rick

I’m extremely happy that I was able to help with the repairs on your Johnson reels.. I love to hear about them getting back out there living their intended purpose.. I’ll be honest, I’m definitely not a “rod repairman”.. it involves chemicals and machinery that needs ventilation and I just don’t have that space.. I truly wish I did but even then, I’m not a rod repairman by any stretch of the mind.. My friend Dan Selvig however is quite the Rod repairman.. I may need to talk him into recording his repairs. I have a lot of new plans for the upcoming season but as usual, time is always my enemy.. when you still work a full time gig, weekends are really all you have to get out there and when your channel is based on the outdoors you’re at the mercy of nature and it’s fickle personality. You can waste an entire day trying to make an interesting episode that turns into a big zero.. and when you only have Saturday and Sunday, one day means a lot.. but I’m not finished yet.. once again, thanks for watching and subscribing.. to be continued 😉 Willie

Hey Willie, Last week we lost our 13-year-old Schnauzer "GUS" We have been down over that. I knew if anyone here could cheer us up it would be Willie sure enough seeing and listening to you made me smile and even laugh. Yep Willie you are good medicine for a sad heart. 🤠Howdy Donald, Yes everything’s ok, I’ve had a lot of projects. Bicycles, motorcycles, fishing reels, etc.. I wanna see some different places, other than the same ol same ol.. My guitar playing has taken a hit because I just haven’t had the time or reason to play. This is very true.. you can get so wrapped up in the need for content that you forget why you use to do these things in the first place. My problem was, I began to let other things go for the sake of an episode. So I’ve been catching up on those things.. I shall return!! 😉
