- I love wagyu beef, but one thing that prevents me from eating an entire steak is the richness (and the price LOL). So, I decided to improvise a sauce inspired by the classic au Poivre peppercorn sauce, except with an asian twist. Spicy, umami, tangy, and mouth-numbingly delicious. What else can you ask for in a steak sauce?

Common Wei tan W these all look so good
nahh I took an L on that sear but very nice of you
looks tasty! reverse sear one of the buzzwords that i junderstand now from watching
Honestly the best way to make steak, foolproof!
I reverse sear my steaks, my hamburgers and chicken breast.
That first spicy sauce looked really good.
Ever try Peter Luger sauce?
I love that sauce!
Here first before you hit a million.. and when you do don't forget ya boy.
I liked the spicy sauce more than the crazy coke sauce😂 but kudos for trying new stuff
I got some crazy experiments lined up lmaoo its what makes cooking fun imo!
Have you ever had steak or other meats cooked black & blue or blue rare? It's actually pretty tasty & you'd notice a difference in texture & flavor (sometimes a multilayered kind of savory to be found), especially if the cuts used are lean or game. Also, how well might coconut oil or red palm oil work in making a steak sauce?
I personally don't like blue or blue rare, the lowest I'll go is rare on a filet. Not too sure about those oils! Why don't you try and let me know?
I love steak too, I will try this sauce! my favorite is bulgogi and samjang mixed together then you cake it on and let it soak over night then next day scrape the samjang off then do some pepper and msg on the top and cook that bad boy. what kind of cooking did your mom most often do for you growing up? or your dad if he was the cook
they both cooked!
@@weis_eats yeah thats good I was asking what kinda food you ate most though, like say your parents were both born in america they might have more american style dishes but if one or both were from asia you might have had the good hookups with some lovely homestyle food. I personally love korean food so much but nothing hits like a lasagna sometimes.
@@AidenLS we ate all sorts of things, asian and american! I might post some home recipes in the near future
@@weis_eats nice :) well ill be here for that and just know even if I dont comment I am watching the videos, but ill usually comment because food is a big passion. been cooking since i was around 12.
@@AidenLS glad to hear it! thanks for sticking around!
