Awesome tip Matthew! Nothing like having a project almost complete and one misplaced hammer swing put's a knarly dent in the piece. I have a small hobby iron that I will be using to try this out.

I keep finding these nuggets of information. Some I do know from years of hobbying in the wood working platform, while some are new to me, even though my father has been wood working for the better part of 80 years and still like to get his hands covered in sawdust and glue. Sometimes a very small dent can be pulled out with just the steam from the iron, no extra water needed. Like you have done in your demo, "ALWAYS" use a cloth of some kind to protect the wood from possibly being burned by the iron. Love your channel and all the great information you provide. I'm finally getting my 200 square foot shop cleaned out so I can begin to put your tips and tricks to use. Spring is coming nd I'm starting on some trellises and an obelisk. Planters to follow and if I can find the material, raised garden beds and railing planters. Keep the excellent videos and Ideas coming. Happy New Year to you and the family!!
