Crossfire positions with a HMG nest can be key in Confrontation Matches.With friends or a smart fellow player capping the point and marking positions of oncoming enemy squads. Allows to be smarter about how and rate of fire from that gun. A match where bleeding tickets is key to winning having this as a strategy can get you that Win. imo...
The damn thing is tougher than a tank trap
I like using these badass weapons; still trying to figure it out where to place them on certain maps, but I think I have a few good spot already in my mind :D there were 2-3 games where I got like 70-80 kills while I only used these bad boys (+a couple more with regular weapons)

I can't hit a damn thing with the MG131...the dispersion's crazy.
maybe its because its hard to see the target and aim? it sprays so many bullets, that hitting is rarely a problem but aiming. takes a while to get used to.
@@paradivision1362 Could be I need more practice, but I haven't tried out the other faction-specific ones to compare. Do you have a favourite one?
@@malkyministrvalky9000 i guess the standard german one (Clip 1) since thats the one i use the most and got used to. also its fire rate is extremely high. i noticed the overheating is defined by time, not by fire rate. so having a fastfiring HMG is a pure upgrade over something like the slow japanese one (depicted in Clip 2)

It a cool update I hope we get more update like this ...AT and artillery would be my pick ..but I hope they add an ammo count for the MG nest in the future nothing crazy low 2000 rounds would be fair.
Hi. Love this video especially all the sneaky positions. It was great to meet you and play with you couple days ago after i just joined the discord.Speaking of HMG. I was building one when you shot me. Even when I set the foundation and try to build it laying down behind the cover. And confection it was not the Christmas tree i was building it was HMG. The trick of building it and shooting through the door is fantastic. I also try to set up couple tank blockers on the side for protection. Definitely 2 engeniers on the squad. Also how about building sandbag first for protection before buying hmg
yeah building the protective sandbags first is good when u have time, i prefer speed over safety so i usually do it without.

The Russians held the last point in Berlin and our Reinforcements were running low, we were gonna lose, i flanked around the big wall and made a sneaky MG nest facing the backside of the point, probably got 40-ish or more kills with it before i got killed from the back, it was too late tho, the point was cleared and captured and we won. Love MG nests.

you mean as customization? there are some premium squads having them and with enough social media pressure on DF there will be added as customziation for normal soldiers too. but currently DF tries to keep the fancy skins out of f2p players hands.
So, bots don't see you now trough bushes?
still do but its no issue. look at my recent game in normandy, which has the most bushes and i dont notice any bots
Just unlocked the HMG nest. I am trying to get to level 31 on Normandy before the merge. I am level 15 rn 💀.

You really enjoy playing squads and shooting waves of stupid AI bots with machinegun? Try to play lone fighters only (preferably without premium) and you will find out quickly, how short-lived any machinegun nest is agains human oponents.
this is a guide for 99% of the community and how they can enjoy the game more. i personally enjoy playing 10v10 against the best players in the world who use the strongest tactics so i can feel a nice challenge. lone fighters against randoms isnt fun/challenging for me.
