- Some older footage pulled from the archives. Sorry for all the wind noise, as there was some weather moving through and didn't have a covering for the mic. Mainly this footage shows the beautiful backdrop for plane spotting at the Anchorage Alaska . Definitely worth a trip up there, as there are plenty of cargo 747s, and MD-11s to see in action. It's a really cool weekend to experience anything/everything related to aviation.
Aircraft is either N578FE or N597FE, but hard to tell at a distance.
One of my favorite places to planespot in the world.
It really is an excellent place to go spotting. Lots of fresh air and nothing obstructing your view.

@@LoveJT8D Great news, too. Western Global have flown the MD-11 on YYZ-ICN and ORD-ICN nonstop. That's right, 14 hour nonstop flights on the MD-11!

why did you delete your 717 static takeoffs and md80 go around?
Are you speaking of different videos than this one? I don’t recall recording an MD-80 go around. I’ve only recorded in-flight 717 footage but I don’t think I have any 717 “spotting” footage.
