I would reccomend the "compare tool". It will find groups of similar size, similar time, similar item level, and within the last couple of weeks (all these ranges can be customized). It also puts them side by side so you only need one window.
Yes, that's a good tip although somehow I prefer the manual search. May be it's just me but the compare tool often brings some extraordinary parses for one reason or another and I feel like I have more control when I pick what I am looking at. Regardless, it's a great tool and may be that's just a "me" thing :)
Can use this tool for some M+ bosses as well, great stuff!
Yes, that's actually not a bad idea. Surprisingly little people actually log their M+ runs but you can definitely extract information from the logs that are there :)

In fact it's quite big in heroic if you have 30 people in raid :) It's not bad in smaller raid sizes either but it shines in huge groups!

How to parse as healer = be selfish and dont save your CDs for important mechanics. So you can use them more often...
Which is why I am not fan of healers parsing but alas, it is what it is!
It even stands true for DPS sometimes - they will ignore doing a mechanics and "leave it to the others" so they can pump more
Parsing is the cancer of this game. It's as dumb as Gear Score back in the WotLK. It promotes behaviors unhealthy for the game. It rewards selfishness. What's the best way to make more dps? Ignore mechanics, don't use utilities and don't help your raid members. No one should care about parses as long as you don't underperform in raid. Especially as healers.
And sadly all that people look into is... parses :D
No. Some raids fail because people are not performing. Kills raid/guilds when people are not playing correctly
Absolutely no one that matters cares about parses.
I think that sadly this is not true. After my guild fell apart, I sent a few applications to other guilds as I wanted to continue raiding and the usual reply is something of the sort "where are your parses?". I ended up playing in a community organized runs this season and the raid leader would only invite people to the raid after checking their logs to make sure they pass a certain parse threshold. Even for healers. So parses play huge role, unfortunately.
