And we still scored loads of goals without Lukaku, so I reckon we're alright. Also, he was sold because he didn't fit the system. How can you play fast, pacy, counter-attacking, one/two-touch football when you have the first touch of a paraplegic rhinoceros? Simple answer: you can't. On Maguire, yes, he's not worth 80 mil, but all I really care about is whether we saw improvements on the pitch after a player came. And in the case of Maguire (coupled with AWB), yes, we have seen massive improvements in our defence, so I couldn't really give a shit about the price tag.

one of the reasons he was taken out of defensive midfield is because in defensive midfield you just can't afford to have his lack of positional awareness and concentration sure you can't really afford to have it at centre back either and that's kind of the problem with David Luis, of course sometimes he has a spell where his positioning and awareness is much better and that's why he's won what he has
