Great summary and comparison of the two! As a Canon EOS R owner, I would be reluctant to drop down to 20 MP. I agree that 45 MP and 8K video are excessive and not necessary for most purposes, but Canon should have given the R6 a higher resolution sensor, similar to the older R model.
