  • In this episode we visit Grand Canyon National Park. We walked the Trail of Time, a scenic 1.3 mile paved walkway with interpretive signs describing the geologic history of the Canyon. We also hiked three miles down into the canyon on the Bright Angel Trail where we turned around at 3 Mile Resthouse. We took the short walk out to Shoshone Point and even biked the entire Hermit Road, leaving from our campsite in Mather Campground. What an amazing time in Grand Canyon National Park! Late October/early November is an excellent time to visit.
🏞️The Grand Canyon South Rim is the most popular and accessible section of Grand Canyon National Park. It's located in northern Arizona and is open year-round. The South Rim offers stunning views of the canyon, as well as a variety of visitor services, including lodging, dining, and shopping. Unfortunately, the north rim was closed during the time of our visit.
    ⛺We stayed in Mather Campground. Sites 110 & 183.

It was great seeing your experiences in the Grand Canyon. At some point, you want to make your way to the North Rim. You would love it!

No doubt, we would love the north rim. Maybe someday we can return when the north rim is accessible.

In the summer months when the sun is higher in the sky and the days are longer, we have plenty of solar power coming in. However, we still wish we could have more during those short and gray days of winter

We love your videos! On a side note, your music is nice but it is a bit loud and drowns out your voices. 😊

Thanks for the feedback. It's really hard to get the volumes balanced since it sounds different depending on the device used for playback. That said, we'll take your comment seriously and try to do better in the future.

We have 400 watts on the roof and another 100 watt portable panel that we place on the ground. Thanks for watching!
