You're right. It is already having a bad impact in nearby Iran where these clouds are usually headed to. Usually these coulds rain on hills there, but now it's drought like. Keeping political boundaries aside, it's not good for vegetation, animals and inhabitants.

To artificially induce rain in one place means that the clouds that were reaching the point of rainfall will not drop rain in their intended spot, meaning that while drought is reduced in one place, it is induced in another.

In the years 2003 and 2004 Karnataka government initiated cloud seeding. Actually, in this case nothing is wrong about it. It is like watering your garden soil. The only consequence that I can see about it, would be if plants starts growing. After a while water will run out and they will die again. But I did not know they have this technology. Forest fires could easily be put out using this technology. So, I still doubt the authenticity of this.

With the amount of forest fires going on around the world every year, we are not even able to plant 1/100 of that amount again per year. In the meantime the population increases by 100 million per year. Which is the same as 2/3 of Russia's population. Imagine if everyone one Earth did a little bit of their part to help this world. But they don't. Even if they all did, those 100 million increase in population will outweigh it anyway. The green plan all those politicians are talking about is not the way to solve the problem. No, it's the way to solve the oil and resource crisis in the future. Do you really believe in the "carbon neutral plan' they all talk about? That plan will only work, if we stop the increase in population right here and now. But even if it happens, we still have to take up a huge amount of land just to make that plan work out. People saying that now Dubai has to deal with humidity, it’s actually already humid in Dubai. UAE borders the Persian Gulf. For those saying to plant more trees, visit UAE so you would see there are a lot of trees here. Trees and greenery in the UAE are also being watered everyday. In Al Ain (Abu Dhabi), every tree gets their own water pipe or if the area has flowers or greenery they use the sprinkler system. It’s very hot here now that it’s summer so I understand why the authorities do cloud seeding. In my part of UAE even at 5 pm it’s still 46 C.
Natural cycle would have been that it had not rained on desert. Slow gradual afforestation is the ideal practice. But by charging clouds and causing artificial rain, the natural cycle is changed by man activities
It does rain in the desert, the lack of trees means no roots to hold soil and no soil to hold water. So less water to evaporate and less rain. Deforestation for Agriculture is what makes deserts. Cloud seeding produces toxic rain.

In Arizona, USA we just had 3 days of natural rainfall that took our temperatures from 110°F to the mid 70's, we had more rain in the three days than the previous 2 monsoon seasons combined. Now, the rain has passed and our temps went right back up to normal but now with a much higher humidity level than normal, making it miserable outside.

I was in Dubai and experienced this artificial rain...it is good for short term solution..but in long run it can cause various lungs related issues...as artificial rain contains chemicals

UAE should plant many trees in the desert and use this seeding method to provide water and in the process they can turn the desert green.

Cloud seeding should be banned by international community, as it can lead to rich countries stealing rain that was supposed to fall in some other country.
How are they stealing rain if those clouds wouldn’t condense naturally, or perhaps rain over the sea? Lots of moist in the sea that nature can use to make more clouds. This technology is a unique opportunity for them to turn the desert into a lush green and beautiful place.

People who are crying in the comments we only get 3 days of normal rain and if we are lucky its a week and usually after winter. This region doesn't even get much clouds that we can seed and seeding isn't always successful. Also if rain did fall in summer then don't worry our sun will not even leave a cloud unsucked of all moist lol.
This doesn't effect anyone, espcially since we know when the clouds come and where the wind that drags them come from and where they are travelling is usually just a vast desert that sucks all moisture of everything. But when natural rain accrues even in those 3 days it's usually very stong but we love it, our groups is all sand so it takes it.

Longer it takes to create the next gen lesser the chances of survivability as a species...especially when the species concerned (humans) have extremely fragile bodies that'll freeze in lower temps, die easily in higher temps, die easily without drinking water, start rotting if you wade in water for too long, can't breathe underwater, can't fly, takes too long to attain reproductive maturity, short reproductive window, egg that's only alive for a day, have long gestation period, can normally only birth 1 offspring at a time and the offspring can't see or even have proper motor control for several months after birth...those are all things that make us extremely susceptible for extinction.
