To me “Self titled” will always be the one!
Catch-22 was amazing on so many levels, it's completely solid in the sense that it contains absolutely no bad songs whatsoever. Not to say that Hypocrisy ever wrote a bad song, I actually cannot confirm that they have. "The Arrival" was my first Hypocrisy album and man it was was amazing and I still absolutely love it to this day, with incredibly simple but cool as fuck riffs and rhythms, amazing fucking lyrics....I put The Arrival on at night often and just imagine, being abducted by aliens after or seeing an alien invasion. To me the most imaginary album I believe. Now in a close third place for me is their self titled 1999 album....amazing fucking songs that you've never heard anything like before with cool as fuck song titles from some strange ass science fiction film that could exist someday. Completely solid from start to finish not a single bad track. "A Taste Of Extreme Divinity" wow....this was such an interesting album because it blended some science fiction with religion on a fantasy epic kind of path that like maybe the angels are actually aliens from another solar system or ours...."The Virus"...has a few tracks that went in a vocal direction that to this day I am not even sure is Peter Tatgren..."Incised before I ceased" and "Living To Die." Which I felt like were for a while the weakest songs on the album, but as you listen more and more they become to grow on you like a "Virus."
Only an idiot can claim Catch-22 was a bad record and lord, there were many of them at the time. Some of his best ever riffs are on that record.
The 3 song from Into The Abyss is very very interesting with clean vocals.
Still have Abducted '96 digipak edition cd sealed...🤤
Abducted and The Fourth Dimension🤘🏻
Final Chapter, Into the Abyss, Catch 22 & The Arrival are my favorites. Love them all though to be frank.
Taste of extreme divinity is the most solid album to me.
Nice interview 🤘🏻

All albums are great.
I haven't heard a bad album from this amazing band.
Final Chapter, best one hands down. Followed closely by Osculum Obscenum
The first 4 for me are diamonds
Abducted, the best.

Catch 22 is definitely the worst. Every other album is very good. They used Lars Ulrichs St Anger snare.
Lars Ulrich used Lars Szöke's snare from Catch 22.
