I hear you. I'm 63 and have been going to live shows for 45 years.
I'll cite my best friend's thoughts on this work because I completely share his position. The metal music used to have a mission -- the mission to tell the uncomfortable and ugly truth about life. To serve as a voice of sanity against the inert tendency of us humans to get used to the wrongfulness of our daily existence. This band's work seems to represent that much needed voice of sanity in the present reality, besides having a masterfully crafted sound. I am glad to see them coming with such an overally great product!

For me, the gray is the apathy and indifference to reality, the deliberate decision not to have to understand how things stand around you. This indifference could be destructive once we get to the point we're to late to save ourselves. The gray are the indifferent. That's at least my take. But the beauty of art is that others can have a different interpretations, least the art makes you think.

When i m hearing thing, i am so relieved there still are real metal bands that never get old and keep to their leitmotiv, with the same passion, with the same talent.
Hypocrisy is one of those i have been following since their beginnings, and i have never been disappointed. Ever.
I can t wait for this album to be released.
Any music that remains true, will always remain timeless whether it’s underground rap or metal which I like both it will always be timeless. Not at all like mainstream pop radio music

I always loved how Peter puts parts like these in the songs 3:22,like totally breaking the natural structure and flying into beautiful melody ,just to come back in to the chorus,AMAZING!

Eraser.... I found that song on a soundtrack at the end of a Christian Slater movie. Barely had anything to do with the story, because the movie was about monsters, not aliens

Oh my god those riffs and solemn base sounds are straight out of the Virus sound with Peter's fresh takes. His vocals are so on point too, powerful but almost weathered sounding. And aliens! can't forget those aliens!

This song blows the rest of the album away, must've been recorded at a separate time it's the only track with the vocals like this.
The riffs and groove sound kinda like South Of Heaven-era Slayer. Nice.

Being a metal head as long as I have been. I am very surprised I have never heard of this band before. :( I feel now that there is much more I need to discover. I may not rest until I feel I have completed my musical journey.

A new band to my ear, that I found by a Facebook recommendation. I'm tempted to call this "proper" Metal! It's my idea of what seriously metal tunes should sound like. There's a tune to bang your head to alongside the growling. Much more palatable to my ear than so-called Metalcore. If you like down-the-line Death Metal, with growling, doom, a tune and guitar not synths, you will find this a worthy addition to your playlist. My Score: Good 3*

Morbid Angel did it even better though in diferrent way - religious roots or s/t And I would say they're really the only in the whole metal scene by that little piece of art (clip). Hypocrisy are not as much extreme and radical and ..

I love Hypocrisy old and new. This band never dissapoints. Amazing talent the writers of the music. I feel asleep while listening to "A taste of extreme divinity" after my grandfather passed a few weeks ago just before attending his funeral. I was so close to the man he loved music and was a 25 year radio DJ. I have so many of his vinyl records to play now on my tuntable
