I am an elementary school teacher who has dabbled with mostly card tricks as a way to engage students. With practice and enough quick performances, I can now put a deck of cards under the overhead and the class will come sit almost instantly. Your tutorials have been the best for my purpose as a classroom teacher, and have inspired me to really learn and practice new material and techniques and to think more critically about my own magic but also the performance of instruction as well. Thanks on behalf of all the other educator's who value quality tricks to connect with their children.
Oh man your handling is sooo smooth! I'm sitting here watching knowing that you've got two coins and still amazed!
Amazing... I love how he handles this...
Most interesting thing here is the psychology of visual continuity and understanding more about how the viewer perceives things based upon deeply ingrained assumptions. I did a magic show when I was about 13 or 14 for a neighbor's birthday party. It was a room full of 3 year olds who had not seen enough reality to even realize what I was doing was out of the ordinary. They had no expectations so I could not create any cognitive dissonance. Great video. Makes me want to get back into some SoH stuff.
Thanks for sharing this Jay! I actually learned quite a bit from this one!
So much from one simple routine...great content!!
Thank you, Mr. Sankey. I've been one of your fans (as you've been told a million times) but because of hand problems my hobby of heart has declined causing me to drift from it. Catching your video here has re-inspired me to do my best to return to it with your help.
Love your videos Jay. They really help me to improve my magic. Not just the effects, but my showmanship and confidence.
Jay, -Man you are as thorough with teaching of your free gifts of Magic as you are in your commercial DVD's etc. 'Love your commitment to the art ! Thanks once again.
Jay
I really appreciate you taking the extra time to explain the many facets involved with good magic presentation. You're doing a great job. I really think you are the BEST.
Just stumbled upon this vid. Best "how to" on magic I've seen. Very concise and informative!
Hey. Your tutorials are definitely the best. MUCH better than anything else out there. I get the idea that you really do want me to learn something about magic, and you're FREAKING good at it. Thanks for making these, please keep it up.
I'm a musician, and the bit about the best performances coming across not as performances "but as you responding" and "together you make something greater" is gem. I love this guy's videos.
I really liked the clear glass. Every time you do a piece of magic you invest yourself in it, and that's what makes the effect memorable. It's not just a trick done by someone. It has your signature all over it and that makes it something more. Excellent job Jay!
Just beautiful!
Great thinking (as usual). I really like your coin work. So clear but so hard to perfect!
I used to do magic for several years and Jay was a huge influence with his videos and easy going style
Great stuff!! I always enjoy how you get us to think about how the spectator will think and their experience.
This is gold! Thank you!
Loved the detail and nuance in this video. Even with a trick so simple, it was loaded with magical finery.
that pass move with the coin looks sooooo real, even knowing how you do it, I can still believe it's really one coin, that's amazing.
Jay you
do much yaking ! Please stop it .Thank you .
I read one of the comments that asked if it's hard to do tricks for people who have seen your videos. You are such a showman, when you are explaining how to do a trick it's still amazing. It's kinda like a ventriloquist, everyone knows what they are doing, but it's how well they do it that makes a difference. ;)
Beautiful pass, man! I just kept replaying that.
Great questions and thoughts on magic !! Thanks for sharing
Thank you. You explain everything so well, easy to understand.
Brilliant. Watching you do it even when we know how, is so good because you are so smooth and skilled, and that's what I like.
Master... YOU ARE FANTASTIC.!!💪
I appreciate your approach to teaching here. You have me thinking about aspects I sometimes forget to consider.
I love those simple tricks awaiting a big reaction, I think this is one of those. Love the videos and about your question what performance is beter? I think it depends on the spectator(s) if they burning your hands I will go for the glas because why asking what you already can see (what do they know ;).. )
I'm not a magician..but I enjoy the mechanics and sheer skill of this. appreciate the excellent presentation...I'm from the UK and your work translates and is best I've seen..so keep making these videos as you have a devoted audience across the water
Love it my man. This is not a trick tutorial but a trick study with various possibilities explored. It opens the mind to many possibilities. Thanks so much.
Love this channel and great work Jay!
Spectacular!
First time I've seen you! You do a really good job of explaining, taking plenty of time showing different tactics. Thank you and I sub.
Love the psychology lesson! Thanks for adding that! It's important. Great trick! You're awesome! I'm a guitar player and after long practice sessions my hands don't want to keep playing but I want to keep going so I TRY to do some slights to appease my Mind for keeping my hands limber. Thanks again. Love the goofball humor! Keep it up brother!!!
Jay I love all your tutorials and I appreciate a real pro doing tutorials instead of other amateurs just posting videos to get views. Love your work in the magic industry hope you never change.
Thanks boss. I'm glad you can see the difference. :)
You make the movement so natural that I can swear that I see the coin fly from hand to hand. It is really impressive!!
Thx - the mind loves to fill in the blanks.
Jay Sankey and Inside Deception are the real deal!
I appreciate your endorsement Keith!
SankeyMagic I have been so happy with what I have had the chance to learn off of the Inside Deception website, from the DVD's I have bought, and from you also on here.
Thank you +SankeyMagic
you are amazing jay ❤️🔥great magician
It still looks like magic as he’s showing you it’s not magic.
@Adrian Bowie wow ama try it
@Adrian Bowie i need to pay
@Braylon Gideon it makes me pay
Sankey this is so cool
Hahaha I've been fooled all along !!! Wonderful show of mastery, thank you...
Wow! Simple and amazing
Very nice. I am a fan of the opaque cup myself....thanks for sharing.
very well explained.
Great presentation! You are a great teacher!
Love this guy
It is truly amazing how real it looks when you are good at it. Transfering a coin from one hand to another without actually doin it, and then make it disappear. Truly magical and powerful.
Sankey very much for this Jay!
O man this is such a good one
That's so amazing how you can just do those tricks .... I love the video, keep it up.
Love your handeling of the coing in the last version! future project for me! I usually do cards and mentalism, but that pass with coins looks so nice. Something I can practice when I'm bored.
Fabulous
That is so clever! You are easily one of my favorite magicians.
This is sick. Thanks Jay.
Also - if you haven’t subbed to his Inside Deception you need to. Soooo worth it.
Thanks for that!
I always believed you're a pro communicator, glad you brought it up. You're awesome!
He manifests a sheer joy for the art of Magic.
So clean thanks gonna practice
Awesome
Knowing how these tricks are done is a far, far, far cry from being able to perform them in such a way that it actually looks like real magic. Much respect to folks who become those types of magicians. A lot of practice, practice, practice, discipline and hard work. When I watch magicians, I know it is probably sleight of hand, but I am still blown away by how it looks like it's really magic.... !!
Thank you
I love your channel and the way you teach your magic
Amazing.
Your slight of hand is awesome!!
Very nicely done!
Beautifully executed, I can only dream
You do inspire. Thanks.
Another great teaching from a master magician. I have been doing magic off and on for years, but have never gotten serious about it. Bought gimmicks, dvds, and spent a fortune on all that. I love the art, and would love to be able to walk into a room with only a few small items, or be able to use whatever’s around me, with the confidence and charisma you have, Jay. Bravo my friend. Thank you for teaching us.
Thank YOU my friend. Hope you and the family are well.
Thx for the awesome vid
Your version of the shuttle pass is mesmerizing!!
Always clever and greatly educational
DAAAAAAMN ,,,
you have impressive moves..
You make it look so easy ,
It takes a lot of practice to get this anywhere near workable..
( I'll just have to practice more )
😀👍👍
Inspiring
I love the stranger things series!! Can't wait for the next season!!
Fantastic movements
Fantastic.
that shuddle pass is stunning! great job jay;)
Its shuttle pass.😂
Americans don't pronounce t's properly.
Sick effect you all ways come up with quality content
great vid, who do you think is the best coin magician ever?
The use of the shuttle pass in this way is brilliant!
Excellent
This guy is really good at explaining while doing the trick jay rocks
I love your flying shuttle!!! Been practicing that move from the moment I got Revolutionary coin magic...Can this trick be done with one coin which is tossed in the glass by the cover of the hand as well??
I am a fan, and very, very impressed; I will follow your lead while pleasing and impressing audiences. Thank you for being a great inspiration to all of us.
What a lovely gift you have given me with your words. Between here and the grave, who knows how long we have, how many moments and opportunities are left - and I'll try my best to 'take in' such a lovely sentiment. Not one of my strengths, but I'll try. Thank you!!!!
Hey Jay! I really like your flying shuttle. Good explanation of it.
thanks my friend
Thanks a lot Stanley for all those explanations and your videos, was doing magic when I was 14.. Then I stop:( No internet at that time, nobody to teach. Now almost 40.. Your videos gave me what was missing. Am going back to practice. Thanks for that 😉
The answer to why "got milk" lol... And mostly implicit, but does depend on your audience and particular trick. Keep up the great stuff Jay!!!
Your Magic is GREAT ! I really LOVE your eyeglasses as well ! Can you please tell me where you got them and who the designer is ? Thanks so much !!!
I love your ur videos they really help me find my style
See this proves magic can be made from virtually anything
From slight of hand to different angles and perspectives. As soon as i saw the first 10 secs of the video i thought i had seen it but i knew jay wud put a phenomenal twist 2 it
Nice 1 m8😎😉😎😉😎😉
Thanks I like the coin tricks
Dude, I'm loving your stuff. I've been binge watching your videos and have already used a couple of your tricks on the guys at work. Great stuff! Keep it up, brother!
Excellent video tutorial and with a great teaching of theory. Your knowledge is very great. You did not know your channel but from today I am your new subscriber. Greetings from Colombia 🤝👍
I LOVE MAGIC!
Is so amazing to see that when a trick I've known for years is performed by you it looks so much more cooler!!!!
What got me into magic is that mysterious style of magicians.Yeah with a glass its more impossible, but with a cup,you make people wonder how it happened behind the curtains. That's what I love about this idea
That's really simple. Easy handling. Overall neat trick it's also easy enough to modify and make multiple coins appear in the glass
good take
Thanks so much for your video i really enjoyed it! I'm a beginner and would really like to see the shuttle pass in slow motion. Do you have a video like this or could point me in right direction? cheers
Ben Makin ; You can vary the speed of the video yourself. Go to "settings" @ bottom of video, click "playback speed". You should see Tim Conway run.
