This show-stopper from Rock around the clock titled 'Rock a beatin boogie' is a cut above the rest, not only in colorization, but also the video chosen is pretty good. When you freeze a frame of the main dancers [Lisa Gaye & Earl Barton], the faces don't blur. Hence, you realize that the video chosen for this upload is still useable. Lighting in the colorization is tops and close-ups of the other cast members : Johnny Johnston, Henry Slate and Lynn Bernay are lucid with definition and clarity. I look forward to Oldies giving us another dance-sequence from Rock around the clock. The number requested is "R-O-C-K" again performed by Rock 'N Roll Queen, Lisa Gaye and choreographer, Earl Barton. Here's looking forward to this dance number upload.

I could have clobbered Johnnie Johnston. He is supposed to be a band manager and instead of keeping his eyes riveted on the young dangers [Lisa Gaye and Earl Barton], he keeps interjecting and moving his eyes every which way. Back in 1956, both Lisa and Earl were the pioneers of Rock 'N Roll. As proclaimed in the movie "This Lisa is a doll, she's young, fresh and sparkles. She just can't miss." Incidentally, Lisa Gaye was anointed the Rock 'N Roll Queen around the world in 1956.
