i wonder if eta prime gets sick of reviewing the same exact cpu in the same exact form factor 15 times per month
Same crap with the same game testing..get real game testing like sniper elite 5 contract killer real racing games..lol same crap
If you get paid and get free products, then even you would do it.
Exactly @@Sup_D
That's like asking if somebody hates getting money for basically doing nothing. They send him products he reviews them favourably $$$$ rinse and repeat.
If I can do the same thing, I won't get tired since I get to try out new pcs and see different units.
ETA, can you tell us or make a video now, like a summary with the most balanced miniPC, power/value... from cheapest to the most convenient option, now there are a TON of options in the market
This right here @eta prime^^^^^^^
Yup. Would love to see this. Don't give two sh*ts about "review" videos reviewing the same processors and specs again and again and again and again. ETA, how about a real review? Thanks.
Get a hp or dell or lenovo.
I would wish he would be doing comparisons!
At first I was going to mock this new MiniPC for copying Beelink's SER7, BUT then I saw it's IO in the back... Beelink's magnetic power adapters on the SER7 are super stupid and annoying and they only have one USB A that's 3.2.... This model here has speakers which I'm not against, but more importantly way better IO in a similar form factor while keeping the barrel jack. I already bought two Ser7 units because I couldn't wait due to a project I was working on, but I hate that I'm now stuck with these proprietary magnetic power adapters. I heard the SER8 goes back to common sense power adapters too, ironically. If the cooling in this unit is truly good, then I'd buy this one for sure over a SER7 model now. Great video as always, @ETA Prime!
Same spec as the last 10/15 mini pcs 🥱🥱
It looks like a solid machine. Surprised.
Also the speakers are a plus for me.
Well done BOSGAME, I don't know you but well done.
Speaker actually sound good
ETA prime jamming on this one...💯👍
As a blind person, speakers in a mini pc are a great idea. If I'm just booting it up and walking away so I won't have to deal with startup applications when I come back, troubleshooting, or even just showing some snippet of audio quickly, this would be good for that. I also don't quite know how big this thing is but those speakers sound a bit better than I would have thought.
Edit: yeah, maybe not. I was under the impression until reading further comments that they were connected to the sound chip of the computer but it operates separately.
So many great mini PCs to choose from 👏👏👏
I really appreciate seeing Fallout 4 for your benchmark everytime
Just bought a bosgame h66 with ryzen 6600 for usd 280. Let's see how good it is when arrive next week.
how was it
@@spery7279 pretty amazing. Performance is really good, thermals are very good never get over 80c while gaming and fan noise is almost inaudible.
The speakers sound good. I just can't think of a situation where I would use them.
I love the mini pc trend. The biggest problem that most people have is "but it doesn't have feature x..." Each one has its pluses and minuses. With tge 'mini form factor, that's just the way it is. I would like to see one of these manufacturers, however, add a simple external PCI bus the expose 64 lanes in a raw form. A simple new standard breakout chasis could plug into that and be used to split it up as the users need. AKA: focus on AI/graphics, HDD expansion, etc. The customization market would go crazy.
At least its something different, games pretty well
Wow first look
Is those speakers were properly built in and not just a splapped on BT, it'd be perfect.
Nice I like the 2 x usb 4 port , but if you have read about can you use usb 4 for thunderbolt devices it will drive you craze , because the answer is yes / no and it all depends.
REAL IO and a USB 2 port to boot. Which oddly some older android phones need, if you want to root them and give them a second life. Like the Razer Phone 2. I really need to do something with mine.
Not sure how I feel about the speakers but the pc itself seems to be a great little machine.
I actually thinking of this for my Dad. He has a 10 year old 11" Macbook Air, and I have a spare 29" LG Ultrawide monitor. I think in terms of performance and the apps he uses (he's been jumping through hoops trying to get newer software to run on his MB Air and they all have Windows and Mac versions), this would blow his old MB Air out of the water and a 29" monitor would be easier on his eyes since he is in his mid 70s. The price is about $590 with the current Amazon sale for a small PC that has 7000-series Ryzen with 8 cores, 16 threads, 32GB of ram, and a 1TB NVMe. Far better than his dual core Core i5, 8GB ram, and 128GB (maybe 256GB) SSD.
Can he use windows? Cus learning at that age wont be easy. My dad bearly manages switching android phones
You need to include the keyboards you show in the description
Nice. The speakers are a tad gimmicky but the quality is good and I could see myself taking advantage of them.
More Minisforum V3 testing!
I'm thinking about getting this - do you know how well HellDivers 2 plays? I'd like to maintain 60+FPS if possible.
@ETA PRIME Have you test this little beast under steam deck os ?
Can you tell me if it supports an eGPU? Looks like it has USB 4.0 but not sure if it can support a Razer Core X using Thunderbolt…
Thinking of purchasing a 6800 series mini PC from this company. I'm just concerned with how the 680 IGPU will handle higher end emulation, like PS3 and Xbox...?
New keyboard? What was the other one?
Did the Nintendo vid get removed? I downloaded it just in case
Emulation test please 🥺😁
Shouldn't the L3 cache be mentioned in specs these days as it has quite a difference?
It's less important when every single mini PC is using the same processor. AMD APUs have yet to include V-cache
Price? Value?
Price: too much
Value: already obsolete
It is almost 700 USD on Amazon. So get a PS5 instead.
@@AndrewTSq If I could install Windows or Linux on a PS5 I'd totally go for that.
@@marstedt get a ps5 and a N100 mini pc for 700 combined :)
We need a mini pc with a stronger graphics card for triple A games
For the most part the only option seems to be the built-in 6600M in the Minisforum Neptune series (HX99G and HX80G). Otherwise you need to build your own mini-ITX. We don't have a viable platform yet where we can plug in our own MXM cards.
the small form factor rtx 3050 or 4060 would probably the better options to build around
Benchmark guild wars 2 please!
There is an rtx 4060 laptop right now for $700 on Jarrod's website.
And it will absolutely crush this AMD mini pc.
I would really like to see how Apex legends performs on these PCs. Its really the only game I play these days and I am curious to know how they handle Apex.
You fallout 4 is stock. Use some mod and fsr mod !!!! You will have ultra setting with same fps with fsr. And much better quality
i think its much better to just carry around tribit stormbox micro 2
Why the hell it has speakers that the PC can't recognize?
Oh look, it's that herk orion mini pc. Idk what the point of the preorder was for.
Curious how much latency there is for the speakers.
probaby like most other BT gear, like up to half a second.
can you please include dota 2 in yout game test?

Well... Something something chinese bluetooth with built-in... PC?!?!
Man those knock-offs go hard dayum😅
i hope amd launch igpu next gen like rx 6600 gpu
Please review Aoostar Gem12 pro with ryzen 8840
No point. There isn't much of a difference
The link to buy the mini pc is wrong, it sends me to a minisforum pc.
Not that I can buy it, just saying.
Me sigue pareciendo un desperdicio el no considerar un puerto oculink en estos mini PC.
The more ETA Prime denies he plays Fortnite, the more I think he's addicted to it....
for the money you can buy a second hand lenovo thinkcentre mini and a brand new playstation 5
And again no audio output on back panel.
handheld pc beat all the mini-pcs.
You should change your channel name to APU Prime.
The link brings me to a minisforum product not this one 🤭
Just hdmi 2.0, no 4K 120hz support then...
Shame those speakers are Bluetooth… this pc could have been perfect for a standalone music production rig but Bluetooth means latency.
Get Rog ally or legion go.
No cyberpunk 😢
Sucks that this channel became an advertisement one for Chinese products
using usb2.0 in 2024 should be a crime lol
So let me get this straight, this "new" pc has the same specs as all the others that have been out for over a year now and they decided that the biggest difference they would make is stick 2 Bluetooth speakers in it that the pc itself can't use?...
oh i see, i can connect my phone to the speakers in case i want to listen to music or a podcast...
fair enough; OR i could just play it right off my phone that's sitting next to me.🙄...this little feature is why they tacked on nearly $300 then the rest of the mini pc's that have the same specs?😄...
Hey prime, since they sent you this for review you should tell them they'll have to do better than adding some speakers if they expect to sell any of them at that price...maybe suggest adding a small monitor to it that flips up so that we can have 2 screens and not use up one of the usb ports for it...
or it can be more portable than the rest since we won't have to carry around a separate monitor...that would actually justify the $700 for it...but if they won't do it I'm sure somebody else would eventually.😄
Why are these 600 plus dollars when a legion go or asus ally are the same price and come with screen controllers batteries etc. These aren’t worth the price but if 300 yes it then would be
BT speakers such a waste, decent *real* speakers from the pc line out would have been good for an emulation / arcade box
Your one of my favorite channels but pls no more AMD mini pc's. I don't watch them anymore
Nah
😁😁😁👍👍👍
Okay, built in speakers is weird.
No oculink :/
700$ 😂😂😂 laptop price
I can't believe these things sell , massively overpriced and such bad value for money.
When they are around the 300 mark i might be interested.
True but that will never work
This thing cost $589 which is a ripoff. I don't see the point of this when you could build a solid gaming PC for $500
How often are you going to upload the same video now?
Its the EXACT. SAME. PRODUCT.
Just with a different paint job and name on the box.
It copying SER7 😅
Same shat different mask..every single time...eat it shat it in different color....
that name, sounds like a joke
Yet another review that assumes most users are immature adults that play games...., how about some vid editing HD ,4K, and no info on noise levels at idle and under load...meh
02:00 - you need to make notification before doing such loud noises. I watched video in a headset, so it was too loud.
Next time I will not forgive you such thing and I will curse you for such thing.
I get the enthusiasm for sff. I don't get numerous units with the exact same specs.
Like the many others, overpriced and underperforming. 🙄
So they scammed minisforum? Looks like it
Minisforum were very much not the first to make such PCs in this exact form factor and design.
@@Waldherz but the most known from what I can tell
