Having owned a 1600 Tbird and a bobber black I can say the triumph build quality is second to none , as is the engineering. That bike is a beast. Bring back the T bird ! 👍👍
First of all. This guy is an excellent spokesman. He surpassed in selling this product. Now..I have 3 Harleys. I won't ride a cruiser from any other brand...except this one. The Rocket 3 will be a fine addition to the collection. I am partial to the GT over the R. I love forward controls. Super sick bike. This bike is a tank. Absolutely stunning.
Have the 3R since 2020, it’s a credit to the engineers, loses all of its weight as soon as you start rolling, corners well, slow moves a breeze. Slightly heavy on fuel, but this bike is fabulous, Used to change my bike every 18months, but no need to do that any longer. It’s the keeper
Excellent work! If only it was a little more versatile I’d get rid of something I own to buy one of these! Absolute perfection! At least one manufacturer is still making one of kind can’t touch this kind of motorcycles. Love it!
I can not understand why triumph has not used this engine in a GOLDWING-type bike. OK I know it would sell in limited numbers but as a rival to the Goldwing, I don't think anyone could do it better without this engine. Full electronic sweet, Fixed bags and top box, cruise control and on-the-go adjustable suspension. Just like the goldwing but with the Triumph 2500 power unit returned for smooth effortless power and an optional DCC system. Now the truth I could never afford one and two it would have to be a good copy as the Goldwing has a great reputation I don't think the BMW1600 has a look in, in the same market.
@@mark675 Almost certainly not as smooth as the Honda Agreed, But compared to the Harley full bager's it must be like silk, If down-turned and worked on it would be even smoother but still retain masses of power and torque.
The Avon is a great tyre but it's nice to know we finally get a new tyre to opt for. The only downside of this bike is the limited tire choices because of the 16" rear wheel
I own a 2022 R3R. There were no Avons to be had when I needed new tires so I went with the Metzler ME888 ultras. I am not disappointed. Excellent tires. As good as the Avons in my opinion.
Hi, i have been waiting for quite some time to book this bike in India and this new version looks even more amazing. So can some from Triumph India tell me when are the accepting new bookings. (Expecting a genuine response with proper details, this being an official page for triumph) thanks have a great day ✌🏻
The pegs look like they are set for mid controls. I still think putting the pegs up and back a little, getting the rider in a bit of a sportier posture, would be the killer hyper naked the Rocket 3 still wants to be.
Even with a sportier peg layout, I still think it's too heavy to ever consider it a hyper naked killer. I would love a rocket 3 (storm), but I don't think it would totally replace a naked/hyper naked for me.
Love the bike; ‘want one. I’d wanna see an entire quick-release subframe to occupy that huge void over the rear wheel to accommodate serious touring gear. Give me that and I’m there.
Wish there will be a Rocket 1 (1200cc) engine with supercharger. I think 1200cc is a mix between fuel efficiency and power, I just find the 2500cc too much 😅😅
@@j.bin_genex1927It's what I heard too. The avons are great I think! Except for the pretty much regular powerslides out of curves, due to the motorcycle's engine, I've never felt I didnt have enough grip on them. Thanks, and happy miles with happy smiles my fellow rocketeer! :)
I fully agree. I live my ‘13 Rocket 3 Touring. It’s basically an HD Road King with a monster motor. The power is bananas but I do wish it was more modern.
@@gregorym2121 it is my experience that most people who ask for a price, can't afford whatever they are looking for. 😁 This assumption does not necessarily have to be true though. 😇
They did back in 2021 the limited edition Black R and Triple Black GT versions each limited to 1,000 models worldwide. I own a Triple Black where the tank changes from dusty silver to dusty grey then black, everything else is black. To me it's better looking than this new model and feel Triumph has betrayed owners by re releasing of Ltd Ed colours.
Basically, that much torque and cubic capacity in a motorcycle is just wild but unnecessary. So, I would say reduce the cubic capacity, save some space, and add 3 more cylinders to make it the best refined-sounding roadster in the market.
Haha there's so much wrong with your statement....it still has unparalleled performance it is the biggest production motor, it's got the most factory CC, hp, and torque. Also.. triumph has way better maintenance costs and reliability, ducatis run extremely hot, even with cooling modifications, ducatis has very high dealer maintenance costs. Don't compare triumph and ducati lol two totally different experiences.

Agreed, he makes a tough sell, easily! Hah. Kind regards to you and yours.
You can always get the controls moved forward on the R also the handlebars
Triumph has created a whole new segment which will take a lot to beat ❤

i dont think can beat goldwing in touring. but rocket I think is a power sportster cruiser like a yamaha vmax for a toy. so
give it reversed gear..
New tyres from Metzeler. But I think the Cobra Chrome tyres are very good.

Let's call this bike for what it is, a Bat Mobile
Masterpiece !
im sure everyone is asking the same q: if its only a software difference, can it be applied to the current R3?
Yes I do believe its a map only adjustment. From what I understand there are no new internal parts to achieve this bump in power.
I’d like an R yesterday please

why is the red on top fo the tank??? i can't find this version on the triumph sites!
Whats the tyre on that one? It isnt an Avon Cobra I believe!?
Nevermind, it's Metzeler.. which supposedly isnt as good as the Avon.
if sport lean riding avon is better. I have lean riding for 25000km. cobra can do full angles lean. and grip great like a sport tyre.

no way 😂

so a car engine basically?
Make a touring rocket with a bigger tank and reverse
Where is the optional DCT system?
no way as honda own dct patent
Why
The English are masters. 🇬🇧
It could do with a reverse gear because of the weight.
Just park it facing uphill so you roll backwards when you're ready to go.
i think r3 may design for sport. so may not with reverse
@@larryhouse3776 Sometimes it isn't possible. A ceep reverse like on a Goldwing would work well.
