I think that's what I'm going to do, I just ordered a wall mount. I may just get extra cables too so I can swap the console back and forth between rooms

Hey! Thanks so much for covering my little game! I'm working hard at improving the game and making it a party / hangout space for 4 people or more. :) Looking at your basement though I feel like I gotta upgrade my virtual basement haha. Very cool! Also I agree with others saying keep the psvr2 in the VR room. That's what I would do (if I had a psvr2 or a vr room that is 😅). Really need to look into getting a ps5 at some point, all the hype definitely got to me now...
I am impressed with your project, has some really cool features. I am looking forward to hoping in with some friends. The 4 player update will be really cool!! Keep up the good work. It's indie devs that have kept VR going honestly!!!!

@@RenderedReality I have wanted to do it many times before, but I think that I have to have a perfect camera or "studio", but it will never be perfect at the start. Even if I just get to be closer to the VR community that is enough of a motivation to get started. I think having a channel will get me out of my protective bubble, guess I have worked remotely for far too long! Thank you for the reply!

Keep in mind the higher you mount it on the wall the less cord length you’ll have to play with.
Hmm that is true!! I was thinking my new plan, might be just get am extra set of cords. Be able to switch it from the VR room to the living room area pretty easily.
My thoughts are, I wish I had a quarter of that space!. Maybe buy another PS5 for the other room.

I will probably need to wait till April at the earliest to get my hands on PSVR2. But I'll enjoy watching others play these games and talking about them.
Probably not a bad idea, should be some more games by then too. I am really looking forward to Firewall Ultra, and Switchback. I hope sony does some kind of official peripheral like the AIM controller.

The discount was to take a little wind out of HTCs sails due to their XR Elite coming out at around that same price. The Pro and the ecosystem is better value at the same price so I get why they did that.

The Yaw2 is in your gaming room so I would move the PS5 in the same room.

I will use my steamdeck as a capture PC for the PSVR2. That will be an interesting experiment. You need a capture card tho' i have a 50Bucks "mirabox" capture card which does the job pretty good BUT the quality is really not that great. I always thought its a bitrate problem but no. Its just the Box. For full HDR, 1080p 60fps capture, 4k passthrough (you capture in 1080p but your monitor can show 4k) you will need the pricey ones and here i believe the Elgato HD60 X is the best one. Its 180€ here but its not even the most expensive one in the market so... I think about buying one too.
Yeah, I probably should just break down and get a good elgato one. I have a cheaper $40 one in my Amazon cart, but usually when I buy something cheaper like that, I regret it.
@@RenderedReality If you really want good quality then yes.. It "works" but well not as good as capturing directly from the Device for example. But there might be a 100$ capture card that just works fine.. but i don't want to try every thing..
If PSVR2 is compatible with the Yaw2, it HAS to move to the VR room. Where you put it in the room??? I don't know.

Haha Beach Bros is ridiculous!! I think my new plan might be to order extra PS5 cables, so I can easily move the console between the 2 locations. Definitely going to have to play GT7 in VR with the Yaw 2
It was great to see your green screen space! As for the PSVR2/PS5 space, I guess it would depend on how you think you will mainly use it. For example, if you are mainly going to play PS5 with the PSVR 2, it might be better to have the PSVR2/PS5 in the VR room because (I imagine) it's going to be used more solo, and you will want the PC connected to stream too, and this will leave the family room area free for TV watching/flat gaming. If you are going to play more of a mix of flat/play PSVR 2 with others watching your VR play on the TV, then I think the family room area makes more sense. As for capture cards, I don't have one, but I've been learning a lot from Epos Vox (more technical CZcamsr) and Senpai Gaming (streamer CZcams Channel) on A/V streaming/recording tech, and they do great reviews. Also Linus Tech Tips say they have less problems with internal/PCIE capture cards than external ones.
I think im going to go ahead and move it to the VR, but get extra cords so that way I can easily move the console back and forth if I want to.

Doesnt matter what your set up looks like if you're gonna be spending most your time in this awesome headset lol. But as for capture cards I would either use the in built recording and save it to a thumb drive or if I'm streaming I'll use remote play and capture the app, you can create a second account sign into it on remote play and your PS5 then switch to your main account on your PS5 and it will be capturing the screen, if it says connected to remote play at the top and it wont go away you just have to go into language settings and change the language back and forth and it will make the message dissapear.

Ps5 can record / stream gameplay directly.
But obviously if your wanting to edit obviously want capture card

@@RenderedReality yeah , hit the share button on the controller and choose twitch ,youtube Facebook ect.
If you have the ps5 camera it will add you to the screen in a green screen type view and psvr1 also had live chat inside the headset for you which I'm sure will be the same.
Obviously will know for sure how the vr stuff works when it's released but definitely seen the camera cutting your background out so don't need green screen
@@RenderedReality just make sure it's the ps5 HD camera not ps4 camera, can't remember where they showed a screenshot of it in action, I saw it on gamertag vr psvr2 video

Yep I definitely plan to!!! Bad thing is my wheel is made for Xbox and PC, but from what I hear I cam get an adapter to use it with the PS5. I can't wait!!

Yeah, seems to be a lot of people's perception. Since I already have it pre ordered. I am hyped still lol, I do wish there were some killer exclusives at launch. GT7 should be pretty awesome though.

I just think it's going to flop. MOST VR enthusiasts already have probably 1 standalone and one PCVR headset. Doubtful many are going to go in on PSVR2 as well. Those that WANT to get into PSVR2 many of them will need the PS5 AND the Headset at that price point you might as well go Quest 2 and save some money and get a decent PCVR setup. I wanna love the PSVR2 and root it on but honestly, I think standalone is the only way to go forward at this point. I can't imagine going back to a wire again.
PSVR1 sold 5 million units! PSVR2 will sell more.
I use my Quest 2 a lot, and I think you make some solid points. I do think PSVR2 will be successful though, but it may take a little while to gain traction. Since there aren't a lot of huge exclusives at launch. As long as Sony comes out with some bangers, I think it will do good.
As a pcvr and quest owner I disagree. The quest is under powered and the content on steam vr constantly disappoints.
