GT7 on PSVR2 is super addictive. Never known anything like it (it's the sum of the parts PS5/GT7 and PSVR2 with zero faffing) had another 4 hour solid session through the night playing random custom races in open tops - the BAC Mono looks and feels awesome in VR around grand valley. Wish I had a Yaw 2 to go with it!

Sim racing is the most immersive experience VR has to offer right now IMO. The only problem is that it's sooo expensive. There's always something on your rig that you want to upgrade every few months. If you like rally, the rumor is that EA will announce their new rally game this spring with their newly acquired WRC license. I really hope that we get good VR in that one.
It really is addictive, I never had real plans to upgrade from a G920 wheel, but now I just want to upgrade everything lol
Niceeeee :-) Tip: enable the tracking guide on the TV (it will add a border to the picture), also if you play seated in VR, set the "Boundary Display Sensitivity" to low. :-)
Awesome, I didn't realize you could change the boundary sensitivity!! With tracking guide on, will that show a border in the stream as well?

One of Us ,One of Us !Ha Sim racing is so addictive, Have you replaced the floppy rubber gasket or are you just using the headset without it ?The modding begins. I've installed two plastic buffers either side of the lenses to stop my glasses scratching the lenses.A harsh lesson learned from PSVR1 When I scuffed up the lenses and had to buy a new headset .
🤣🤣 I just removed the floppy rubber gasket for now. I'm really hoping some good 3rd party accessories start hitting the market soon. I plan in getting some prescription lens adapters soon. I definitely don't want to scratch the lenses
Well you're a money is no object gamer so I'm not surprised you're upgrading lol. I'm more of a 20/80 gamer (I try to get 80% of the performance of the premium for 20% of the cost. My wheel is a t-150, my cockpit is a playseat challenge, and my HOTAS is a HOTAS-X. Perfectly happy with all of them (other than the pedals which I plan on upgrading) a s am adding a Next Gen Racing haptic gaming pad to bring the playseat up to 80% of a motion simulator :).
Constantly chasing premium can get very expensive, you can have a very good experience with budget gear.
I May have a look at that new Fanatic $500 setup though!
This will probably be my last upgrade haha. I used the Playseat Challenge for a long time!! Tyler actually has it now, while he waits for his Yaw 2 to show up.
@@RenderedReality I wish I had the space for a Yaw 2. The Playseat is perfect for me because it lives down in the family room, which doubles as my man cave 90% of the time. Sometimes it needs to be a family room though, so I need something I can put away easily :) The NGR Haptic Gaming Pad should be a sweet upgrade though.
@Dave Baril haha yeah that's why I bought the playseat originally too, it used to live in my living room. Then I would fold it up and it would go in the closet
Stunning game this. Prefer it to any of the pc vr racers. The attention to detail is crazy. Psvr2 is worth every penny for GT7 alone.
You didn't have any motion sickness? How accurate did the Yaw2 movements reflect in-game movements (turns, acceleration and brakes)? 🤔
No motion sickness, movement actually typically helps to lessen motion sickness. The Yaw 2 does reflect in game movements. The game sends out telemetry data that tells the yaw 2 what to do.
@@RenderedReality I know, I've just tested the Yaw2 but in Dirt Rally 2 it had some strange movements that felt uncomfortable... Your GT7 gameplay looks very cool though, I can't wait to test this game with the Yaw2 😊
You’re making me want to spend $1100 on gt7. Is it better than pcvr sims like pcars2? That’s my top sim right now for the yaw2.
GT7 is such a solid game!! Idk if I can say it's better then PCVR Sims, just different, and I am really enjoying it lol
I’ve got a quest 2 and index. It’s as good as anything I’ve played on pcvr. I thought about getting the new vive Xr elite to replace my index but went for a ps5 and psvr2 instead. Mainly to play GT7 but also to have access to any future sony exclusive vr games as they had some great content on the psvr1. There is hundreds of hours of content on GT7 alone so felt the price of entry was justified.
@P Mulherin Really looking forward to seeing what kind of psvr2 exclusives there will be. GT7 is awesome though and has me hooked
@@RenderedReality Me too. Wipeout was amazing on psvr1. Going upside down at crazy speed was something else. Astrobot, and blood and truth were also excellent. Really enjoying the videos. Keep up the great work.
