Mia goth is pretentious and insufferable. This movie like X will be nothing but great camera shots and that it. Had to turn Pearl off midway. Seen thousands of films and lots of horror. This is all cringe asf. I love art house so that’s not the issue. Horrible actress might as well been Zendaya. A bunch of hack queens. Kookie monsters and cringe is all people live anymore. This is main stream attempt at impressing people that have never seen real art house movies and it’s hack.

I keep telling people if mia goth doesn't get a Oscar nod. I give up on the academy. That scene with pearl confessing was captivating and had me in tears.

Hello, it's 2022, you should've given up on the academy long time ago.
Many ppl gave up on the academy a long time ago. You used to be able to judge quality with the oscar awards, but now its just bribery politics

I loved that David Corenswet is in this film! He did a phenomenal job in the mini series ‘Hollywood’ directed by non other than Ryan Murphy. He did a flawless job in Pearl, and I can’t wait to see more of his work!
