- Hey everyone, today we’re going to be going over the top five ways to fix an issue in Safari on your Mac where certain webpages won’t load. First, we take steps to isolate the problem, including going over steps like disabling your ad-blocker or antivirus software to ensure they aren’t the root of the problem. Then we check for issues with your computer handling things like your IP address, we reset Safari settings to clear data, we check your hosts file, and more. I hope this helps to solve your internet problems on your Mac, but if you have any issues with it, feel free to check the Apple Support link or comment and I’ll reply.
Command: networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi

You have no idea how I'm thankful to you brother, I have been dealing with this stupidity for over 6 months, and I even watched your video before, but never went to the end, today finally I came back and did all steps, and when I did step number 5, my problem got fixed. You have no idea how I'm excited, so much. May God Bless you, and give you all the best, be healthy, be wealthy, be blessed, you and all your family, I'm truly thankful and I really appreciate your help. Maaan, Thank you! God Bless!!!
Thank you sir for such a wonderful tutorial. I couldn't get 3 to load but did try the rest. When they didn't work I tried resetting my modum/hub and that did the trick. Wonderful job. You are going places Mr. :) All the best.
I’ve spent exactly 4 hours trying zillion advices on how to fix safari including Mac support. #5 solution worked for me! You’re the smartest kid ever! Thank you and good luck on your channel!!!
Ugh 😩 Thank you so much, I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what was wrong and number 5 really helped me out. Now I can go back to watching Netflix, thank you so much, you’re a genius!
Many thanks . A lot of helpful stuffs I have gotten from this.
Great video, easy to follow and conclusive results with further help included.
THANK YOU! I have been trying to figure this out all week and I would have never resolved it without your video! Step #2 worked. You're a genius!
THANK YOU! I had a problem with "access denied" with trying to pay after buying an item on eBay and this has worked! It took me 5 hours to get to your video and I should of tried you first. Excellent work Thomas.
I’m humbled and appreciative for your flawless assistance. Thanks a million!
@Shawn Alejandro Yup, I have been using flixzone} for since november myself =)
Your video had a great solution and support whenever I watch it this again work for me flawlessly. Thanks for the help.
I haven’t been able to go on CZcams on my Mac for over two years. I just accepted the problem and used other devices. Today I needed it so I had to fix it. The third solution worked! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH. Was getting discouraged after troubleshooting so many other suggestions, but YOUR #1 WORKED LIKE A CHARM.
Thank you Thomas, I did all of the steps several times and it finally worked. I'm not a tech person at all but you made it easy. Thanks so very much !
Glad I could help!
Literally crying rn thank you so much I had a math test today and it’s thanks to you that I got to access it 🥺💕
It feels good
It's always nice when you get it at the beginning! First one worked. I had to reset the DHCP Lease. That's all I did.
Thank you!
I watched many youtube videos that did not help me at all. My mac was not loading any websites via chrome. I tried the terminal commands you recommended Thomas and everthing is working! I was shocked that it was completely fixed! Thank you, thank you, thank you Thomas!!! I highly recommend you Thomas!
Thanks a lot, this is gold. The option 2 fixed it. On option 1, I didn't have the "Off" option for IPv6.
what did u do after typing networsetup..... like what to type next
@@nathaliafortich2917 Frrr it won’t let me put my password cuz it has a lock wtf
I tried the terminal thing but now I can’t turn my wifi back on my computer
@@karlykershaw3907 i have the same problem. How did you fix it?
@@karlykershaw3907 do you know anyway to find out what the password for your Mac is
Thanks for the helpful video. Very nicely done. None of those things were my problem, though. Turns out something reset my DNS servers to MEGA cloud service's feed IPs. Not very cool. Even though these particular tips didn't help, trying them got me to check my DNS settings and figure out the problem, which was effecting all internet traffic, not just in Safari. Hope this helps someone.
Thank you so much!!! Been trying to get this issue fixed for hours and watched a lot of videos. Your step #5 fixed my problem!!
Omg!! You saved me! I read tons of articles about this issue, watched several videos and your last step worked on my Mac pro , Thank you!!
I solved my problem because of you bro finally I got the solution and
succeed.
Plz share!!! 🤨
which method worked?
Never apologize for having a fast paced tutorial king, you’re doing gods work
Stfu
Thank you so much for making this video! You are a lifesaver! I've been trying to figure this out for 2 hours. Came across your video, step 5 did it! Yay!!!!
Seriously the second option saved me from a breakdown! You are a genius and I am a lifelong lover of this channel!! Thank you!
What do we do if we can’t set configure ipv6 to off only: automatically, manually, or link- local only?
automatically
It is on that but still it is not workin’
mine too was similar... the lat step worked for me tho
Glad it helped!
My configure IPv6 doesn't have a off setting. It's only automatically, manually & link-local only
Same here, did you resolve this problem?
Mine didn’t either but I just continued on with step 1 and it worked. This guy is a life saver forreal
Do the following:
1. Open Finder
2. Click on Applications
3. Click on Utilities Folder
4. Double Click on the Terminal app
5. Run the following command in the terminal window:
sudo networksetup -listallnetworkservices ( copy and paste this command using something like Paste Plain Text , then there isn't an issue with formatting )
This will list all of your network interfaces and their names.
6. Identify the network interface you are using, most commonly Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Use the following command in the terminal window to disable IPv6 on that interface. Please note that you may have to use quote marks to envelope the interface name. A few examples:
sudo networksetup -setv6off Ethernet ( you DO NOT have to do this command - since if you're just using Wi-Fi, then that's all you need to turn off )
sudo networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi
You will be prompted to enter your OS X administrator password. Afterwards, IPv6 will be disabled - check by looking in the System Preferences > Network > TCP/IP.; should be OFF
While usually not necessary, if you wish to re-enable IPv6 on your device, you can simply run this command in the terminal:
sudo networksetup -setv6automatic Wi-Fi
sudo networksetup -setv6automatic Ethernet
Hope this helps....
@@lifeslooker that didn’t work for me 😥
Same
Thanks man! I didn't give up and went thru all your steps! It was the last one! The MAC'S BACK!
Thank you so much Thomas. I tried several videos with no positive outcome for almost 24 hours before I found your video. Fix number 4 did it for me. Best regards!
Hi, I have followed your video, thank you but Im still having issues
Thank youu!! Looking at step number 5 after going through all of them did it! Something was checked off that was stopping it from working 😭
Thanks! This is the first tutorial that actually fixed my problem. In my case it was the IPv6 issue.
You are a GENIUS! God Bless YOU today and always for helping me out!!! My business is up and working again because of you and your CZcams video. Thank you Thomas!!!!
I'm speechless THANK YOU, it finally worked. MAD RESPECT 😭♥️
I can’t thank you enough for this !!
Thanks for this awesome video. After going through a frustrating time with apple support, your 4th step solved the problem for me. Thanks you
You are a genius!! I spent over an hour on the phone with an apple representative and they couldn’t fix the problem, then I decided to go to the Apple Store. The guy couldn’t still fix the problem. I ran into your video and bingo. I followed step three and I fixed the problem. Thank you so much.
When it says configure IPv6 there are three options
1)Automatically
2)Manually
3)Link-local only
Which one should I click?
PixelFusion YT same :(

I tried all five of your recommendations, nothing worked. Still getting the error message "This site can’t be reached"
Same ... my specific issue is with CZcams vids via Safari having upgraded to OSX Catalina ... never had this issue previously ... i seem to be able to access other sites OK ... thanks for the vid by the way :)
I am facing the same problem, is your issue resolved or still persists?
Marco Prenga sameee
try going to load the site on a different browser to see if maybe its an issue with the actual website
I’ve done it all as well and still can’t load lots of websites, even the apple.com site.. so frustrating
THANK YOU SO MUCH. The Wi-Fi struggle was so painfully real 🥴😅... but I guess I was having a hosts situation because your #3 solution totally fixed it for me.
Holy crap. Thank you. Went through so many tutorials on how to fix this. This was finally it.
my configure not even have off its auto, manually and local link only
not*don't
Set auto
networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi type that in terminal
Just a tip that worked for me, playing around in my settings didnt work on my end at lwast..
I disconnected wifi > restarted my router > reconnected to network
Hope this helps someone
After I tried everything else this worked for me, too. Thank you LadyHulkX
I hate most of these tutorials because there always seems to be something missing on my screen that's critical to fixing the problem. Not this time! Not sure which step did it, but it worked!! Thousand thanks TDV Productions👍🏾👍🏾
you're a legend! went through tons of pages and luckily stumbled upon your video!
THANKS i almost got a 0 for a test
wow it worked
delmo wow fantastic
Some webpages load fine but many do not,, example,, Lowes is fine,, Home Depot is not,, first msg says webpage reloaded, it reloads and then says a problem repeatedly occurred. I tried all five suggestions and it didn't fix the issue. I did the latest system update about a week ago and then this started happening. I have a 2010 27in iMac with High Sierra version 10.13.6 and safari 13.1 I really appreciate your assistance, Thanks
Hey Thomas, thanks to you I fixed my issue with a page not loading and it turns out it was the host file (solution #3) so I opened your supplementary video on host files. Your step by step instructions were great EXCEPT i couldn't erase the existing text until I opened up the folder properties and change the permissions from "read" to "read/write". I CZcamsd another video to figure that out. A friendly suggestion: maybe alter the video or at least add a footnote to advise people why they may not be able to modify the text in Terminal. Thanks again
You helped me a lot! I encountered this problem for quite a long time until I find you!
No one can fix this perfectly like *CRESHTOOLS* he did mine
i dont see creshtools
Thank you - i was so worried about this problem but the very first method you suggested seems to have fixed my issues :) safari is now moving around great & loading pages fast on my MacBook pro. Thanks again!
Awesome. So frustrating not being able to get online. Go through all your suggestions and the last one work 🙌🙌 thank you
THANK YOU SO MUCH, it wouldn’t let me do my school and now I’m so relieved, thank u very much
This one actually went into details and worked for me, thank you.
It took every step in this video plus your other one to resolve my problem however the problem has been resolved. Thanks!

My mac is ten plus years old.. But it had Licenses on it that I can't transfer so it's Valuable to me. It stopped connecting to most sites so much I had to use a phone for research. Got to the terminal step and it worked! Thank you so much man. You saved my machine
Thank you. #4 took care of my biggest problem. I still have another couple of minor ones but that may just be compatibility issues. Thanks again!
omg, it worked😭 I was so stressed out, but steps 1 and 4 solved my problem. Thank you!!
Thanks mate. It actually works. This saved me a lot of time. TY God blesses you.

Thank you so much!!! This is so helpful! Also, I was wondering if you know how to turn off iPv6 on iPhone... I ran into the same problem on my iPhone...
Excellent video, and like most number 4 works, saved video for if it ever happens again!!
Thank you so much man, this is by far the easiest tutorial i've found to solve this issue
Literally saved my day! - Have been googling a lot and none of them works for my case. This one does! Thank you so much!
Same here...unfortunately, mine didn’t last....when I logged off then back in later.....same thing!! 🤨 Safari just won’t load anything!! Grrr! 😡
You are the best man 🤛 I just follow your steps and I fixed my issue 😅
Thank You for your Help ! it Worked on the First Step !

The last fix seems to have worked for me. Thanks man!
Thanks, Man. Just got an access back. You're a life saver!
OMG Thanks so much it worked even if I couldn’t set ipv6 to off, and the first option was enough
Thanks for these ideas. I was working on a customer's late model macbook pro earlier today, to configure a TPLINK repeater. After successfully getting the repeater working (for a windows computer in a different building), suddenly the mac would only load SOME websites. Looking through your suggestions, I will try some of them when I go back tomorrow, but the problem occurred also with Google Chrome, so it is not Safari-specific. I also tried giving alternate DNS settings, but this shut down all websites. Very puzzled by this. No luck so far.
Thanks bro, Step 4 worked out best for me👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿much appreciated
The first solution of this video fixed my computer. Thanks!
Thanks for this; the terminal command was a real find, so thanks
