I joined a Corp but when I got to the system just before Low Sec I got nervous and couldn't go through with it! I've been playing Eve 10 years and I feel like I need someone to hold my hand when it comes to PVP(and FW) like I'm a little kid! I've done VERY, VERY little PVP in Eve, not counting all the times I've been ganked!
Always just your gut. But sometimes you gotta over come that fear. Its just a game after all.
Just get in some cheap t1 ships and get bloodied. Get your ass out there recruit!
Also...i will be only able to reply after 21st November
I just use cheap t1 frigates and destroyers the fits I fly aren't more than 4 million so very cheap. That way you get used to dieing and doing pvp without going bankrupt. Also my mind set is I'm expecting to die that way when it happens it's not as stressful.

Back in the day I was a low-sec pirate looking for good fights against the FW people and other pirates. Nifty they added a pirate FW option now. Been thinking of coming back an involving myself in something in EVE again... Exploration, Incursions, Faction Warfare... so many options.
now is the BEST time to return to EVE imo

I would have liked a part in the video where you did fleet up, just to show how but honestly this was one of the best FW guides out right now.
Another thing, I get using the ship caster to essentially get to the action quicker, but another thing possibly to show is maybe picking a route? That might be too advanced though.
Its just that sometimes the ship caster won't be active for players if no one has set it up.

First played eve in 2020, stopped in 2021, but it has brought me back in 2023. This is going to be the first time that I try any pvp, but joined FW off of a suggestion. started with a new account, too, so have to make all my isk again. this video made me excited to come back again, and with all the updates since 2021 and with the upcoming updates, this is going to be a blast. definitely worth a subscribe to your channel, and can't wait to see other videos you will bring up.

After a Misstake in Basquerin and loosing my Astero with all my Reaction Blueprints, I uninstall the game for now. Okay, I subbed awhile ago, now, I understand why, my PVP has been just awful. There are things you have cleared up quite succinctly, and I will be watching your "Pirate" video because I have a "pvp toon" that I set up for FW gameplay and he is Angel Cartel. I have enjoyed dying in the large combat space "Mining Op" .....got a sense of it all but plexing has been baffling me a bit....for years actually. Thanks.

Every time I try to get to an area I get a warning about Triglav-something and if I still go they are camping the gate. What to do?
that means the system is owned by triglavians, if you standings are low to them they will attack you, enter your own risk!

Is a gallante pilot in more danger than usual in a Faction Warfare system that is dominated by caldari? I was going to setup PI there, but maybe it’s not a good idea? I’m not participating in the warfare, but would I be a target anyway just because I was born on the wrong side of the tracks?
it's all about the Rep you have with each faction! check that to be sure the NPCs arent mad at you

Trig ships cannot enter NVY sites, correct
What about the bottom row of factions ships? You addressed the top row and mid row but didn't mention the bottom row. ( sisters of eve, mordus legion)
Pirate Faction ships cannot go into the lower tier FW sites

Correction:
Site-1: Its LP divided by the amount of people inside within 30km of center. So say its 10K LP and you have a buddy, you both get 5K LP
Site-5: There is an added bonus to the pool of LP for each person up to 5. Not sure of the math, but instead of getting 5LP for you and a friend, you both might actually get 12K LP. Much more. The LP pool increases up to 5 people. Anymore just gets divided out. Basically encouraging group play.
Otherwise, not a bad video outlining what you need to know to get started in Faction Warfare. Just watch your dscan cause I'm coming for you Squid!
