True story… seeing Heidi getting her body back after babies was one of my inspirations. I gained 60 lbs after baby number 2 and basically accepted being overweight. I saw Heidi and thought, “I can do that too!” Last fall, it was so satisfying to put my pre-baby jeans on! You look amazing Heidi! 😍

That split level house and four small kids is an automatic stair climber and workout all day every day. Her house is its own gym. Or at least pre-gym! Getting "back in shape" won't be that hard. She's already in pretty good shape from all that. 👍

@@DudeDad ♥️🤗 Those split levels are a seriously brilliant designs for houses as they are built in / automatic exercise.👍And of course little kids, babies, errands and groceries are nature's original cardio and dumbbells!
They are horrible designs! Mainly because you can't age in them and they have an atrocious floor layout. You lose so much square footage with steps everywhere. You'll regret buying it someday, every older couple I know with a split level is moving out of their split level because the can't get up and down the steps easily.
It truly boggles my mind anyone likes this house design. Why?!?

Heidi is so brave for doing the gym! I have two kids, and I work out at home so I can wear my husband's old basketball shorts and look like a sweaty pig and whine about how much I hate it without bothering anyone else. You go Heidi!
My wife sometimes wears shorts like that with a t-shirt at the gym. Don't worry. It really is OK and no one is judging you for getting sweaty at the gym - that's literally why you are there. Just go and kill it at the gym, join a spin class, whatever it is that you enjoy doing. Go, enjoy it, and don't worry about not having your makeup.
@mgelax appreciate it! I will probably continue exercising at home, though. Then I can do things like yell "I hate this garbage, why do I do this to myself, can I just d i e now, etc. etc." It's more about that. And that I can binge Parks and Rec while I spin. 😁

I’ve had 4 kids and 3 pregnancies (twins for the last one!) - it’s so hard to get back into a routine of working out, so I’m cheering Heidi on! 🎉

I nanny 4 children - they had a 3 year old, 19 month old, and then twins. Poor lady looked amazing carrying the twins but then she had whatever it is when your belly doesn’t go back in naturally. :/

I loved the I’m going to the gym…I’m going to the gym - I can’t wait for this to become a habit… and walking into the gym with the people who almost live there is so intimidating. This was awesome and Heidi - feel all of this. :)
I have to remind myself that *I* was the gym rat before the kids came along. I got into competitive weightlifting when they went to school, but MS brought that to a screeching halt for a while. Now, I row and mountain bike (but only flow trails, because it turns out I’m clumsy), but I do not have the time or energy to go that hard anymore.
And that’s totally fine. Priorities change. We change. It’s all good.
We accidentally broke my wife’s “mama bear” tumbler lid…they replaced it for free no questions asked! Thanks dude dad for being awesome!

Don’t use a membership girl! Just find workouts on CZcams. Then you can work out right in your own home (and in your wooo-wah pants!). Way less intimidating and you still get to workout!
Seriously, you can wear the ugliest shorts and sports bra at home and no one cares. Plus, you don’t have to see people.
See this is why I should just keep working out at home was thinking about joining the gym BUT...the fashion for the gym forgot about that part...and the cup....my husband will thank you for this video no doubt;)

Funny video! 😂 That said, please know that if you are at a point where five minutes of effort is a lot for you, then just do the five minutes! It is enough! It is amazing! You can turn that into a habit and then build on it. Don’t feel guilty about starting slow. Don’t feel guilty about progressing slow. Remember that everyone else who seems to have everything together really doesn’t! Remember that the super strong people with the cut figures started where you are, or maybe even had to work long and hard to get to where you are now before they progressed to where they are. Be kind to yourself. ❤
