@@noahrocklin4596 Actually untrue. Eating before a marathon is a bad idea. Running like that rattles your stomach around. And any digested food or even undigested food will be pushed down and out from a natural reaction your body has. Basically you'll fell like your about to shit yourself. Doing about a 24 hour water fast is the best way.
Pharaoh Gaming somewhat. You want to spend 2-3 days prior what’s known as carb loading. I prefer real carbs then bread and sugers more but the idea is to load up a lot of glycogen which stores in your muscles before a long run/bike/swim. Then prior to do nothing but water to help water storage to allow the glycogen to break down.

it's one of the least complicated recipes on here but I would be remembering this sandwich for months afterward
not only is it labor intensive, the cost of all that maple syrup and cholula sauce just to give the bacon a glaze seems prohibitive.

I have a high respect for chefs that cook well on a electric stove
just made some bacon similarly to this as i couldnt stop thinking of how awesome this would be. turned out amazing btw, put some bacon, then scallions, garlic and fresh birds eye chillies (with seeds for hotness!) and then cholula but instead of maple syrup (didnt have it) BBQ sauce (thought it be sweet enough and add extra layers of flavour). turned out amazin on my bacon lettuce chorizo cholula red peppers sub toasted with molten parmigian.

Matty.... I've made this BLT multiple times. Today I discovered a delicious biproduct.. Caramel... Maple, cider venigar, garlic, shallot, hot sauce, bacon caramel. It is a sweet and aromatic caramel like no one has ever tasted.
With the caramel, I added bourbon to it to make into a glaze and I will be glazing grilled shrimp with it..

Yup. I went to France and walked for hours a day and barely saw any fast food joints anywhere. And guess what? 90% of the locals i saw were in great shape. Go figure. North americans have the worst eating habits on the planet (yes Canadians as well).

I’m from Germany. After this video, I decided to make a BLT sandwich - it looked soooo delicious! I had only German buns, salad arugula, some mushrooms, cherry-tomatoes and the last one weisswurst (Munich sausage). And, of course, mayonnaise. I didn’t have bacon with maple sirup, but I found cherry jam and sriracha (hot sauce). Guys - it turns out sooo good! I love BLT sandwiches now! 🤘
As a fellow german I am distancing myself from this abomination of a sandwhich you produced. Also, please look up what BLT means. Germans are just so culinarily stunted it's not even funny. You can find maple syrup and bacon in every supermarket and even cholula at most kauflands.
