Seem people removing so much plastic that I was thinking in selling the bike just because of that, but I was going to figure a way to do better even if I have to use a vacuum pump , you did nicely!, loving my ak550 so far and keeping it, only about 200 miles on odo , ty! From the USA.
How are you liking your bike so far? I've been debating if I want to switch up to Jump from Suzuki, currently riding a Burgman 400, I really like the look of the Ak 550 compared to my Burgman. Stay Safe rider✌🏾
So far so good, like anything else it's not perfect. But a lot of fun. My biggest complaint is the noodoe system is horrible, the lighting is weak and I really can't get it up over 9? mph even on a flat (closed) course. That being said it handles great at any speed, in the rain and in heavy winds. I've install the GIVI windshield and that made a world of difference. With that windshield I feel very little wind or cold on my hands and arms compared to the stock one.
I would pay big money to see someone take all the plastic off the bike and put it back together! Because I want to paint the plastic panels, all of them! You can only buy one in the States with the boring, ugly and dull matte finish on the plastic! Also, I got rid of that useless butt bumper on the seat and now I can scoot back, stretch my legs out fully in front of me like on the big cruiser bikes. They need to eliminate these stupid foot boards on these Maxi Scooters and put some foot pegs out front somewhere. People look like they are riding a child's bike with their knees up in the air on these bikes.
Draining the oil is the easy part. We need a video to show how we change the filters. Good video tho

12.2 ft lbs of. torque on those 2 bolts per svc manual.
Looks like you have some big ole crud in those screens. 😊
Can I ask? The oil refill for both is this a separate system? Or you can fill up the whole machine from the hole with the stick? Thanks

You go a far distance on your birman
I might be buying an AK this week. Do you still have yours?
I do and I still love it. Although with the cold weather here again, I'm again wishing it had a heated seat :)
How did you clean out and clean up the screens?
You can rinse them out with either some clean oil or brake cleaner. The only thing that might or should be in them is some metal flakes.
good video but you may want to finger start the bolts before using the ratchet.
