Hi JC, you're absolutely right, but the problem with the blue rubber band of the Guillow's models is, that you can't turn the prop much more often, than maybe 150 times. To get at least some flight time out of it, I had to launch the model straight away. I wish you all the best!
I've built my Guillow's models on a very basic level. Everyone can easily copy, what I've done and do a better job than me. But you are lightyears ahead of me! Have a wonderful evening!
I've lost two rubber bands during the test flights of my Fw-190. The size of the CITY POLICE is similar to the size of a Guillow's model and therefore I've got the idea of not just using it's rubber band, but also comparing the performance of both models.

Nice....something to know about hand launching..you must first let the prop start spinning and then launch the model.
