- The LS swapped s197 mustang project is started. The goal for this project is to do this swap for cheaper than buying a 4.6 mustang of the same year, and to finish the swap in about two months. The LS swap was done using factory ford 4.6 motor mounts, and ls swap plates for pre-2005 mustangs that can be found on ebay. Stay tuned for the next part where the CD009 Transmission is installed!
Man time flies, i remember seeing one of these mustangs in a casino that you could win, brand new. Doesnt even seem like too long ago.

I can vouch it’s easy I got a few shorts myself of the finished product!
I would swap out that pan.

Hey, do you think the chevy SBC will line up like the LS on the engine bay? I'll make my own swap plate for the engine mounts
What wiring harness did u use
The original chevy harness from the suburban still runs the engine, with everything extra removed. Also kept pieces of the original mustang harness to retain the functionality of the factory gauges.
