Good topic... Awesome, I can't wait to join the crewmies! Interesting on the Lions Mane, I've heard good things for sure... "$100 is the new $20" hahaha so true man! A 1 oz. Gold is a bucket list item for me... I'd love one! My son bought a Gold Buffalo 1 oz. with his first paycheck outta bootcamp, his receipt was for like $1,250!!!! So crazy in just 8 years! Effenheimers... haha! Hyperinflation for sure if they tried to make a trillion dollar coin. That toner Peace Dollar is rad! I've heard the reason they'll never go back to a gold standard is because 1. We don't have the most gold, whoever does would be king of the world & 2. We don't have the largest gold still in the ground in our country either. Both may be true or not, but America currently rules the world because we've bought everyone with dollars, without that fiat currency we're sunk. Good talk man!
I heard a statistic the other day that for every 6 people that walk into a coin shop, around 5 of them are there to SELL their gold. You gotta Wonder if these coin dealers are running short on cash? VERY risky time to be buying large amounts! Some of these coin dealer's will be out-of-business if Gold goes back down to $1,600-$1,700 an ounce!
I agree, it can be a problem.
That is never going to happen. You can't print fiat currency into oblivion and expect zero consequences.
Coin dealers sell more online, way more, than to walk ins.

To have enough gold backing the real use of gold ,one would have to skyrocket the price of the metal on fractional transactions ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It would need to be backed with gold, silver, platinum and copper.
Well, if the dollar was still backed by silver, we would have today $30 worth of buying power. If you are making $15 an hour today in money backed by silver, you are actually making .50 an hour. If you are making $30 an hour in fiat trash cash in terms of silvers value, you are making $1 dollar an hour. Let that sink in.
