- This week we are making pizza’s while camping. We get to review and see how the Gozney XL pizza oven performs out at the campsite. Making pizza can be an easy or tricky process depending on how serious you want to take it. The Gozney ARC XL pizza oven runs on propane and gets up to a temperature of 1000 degrees , perfect for high heat steak and pizza’s.
In this video we are going to show you how we make pizza and different things to look at for while you are making any type of pizza and what ingredients and supplies you might need to get that perfect pizza.
Pizza is for sure a labor of love as we make multiple types of pizza including cheesy bread, traditional pepperoni / sausage and a Margherita pizza as well. All of these pizza’s turned out amazing and the grill is as good as advertised making some amazing food and also being fairly compact enough to take out camping. The only downside of this oven is the price tag as it is around 800$. But if you are a pizza fan and have the budget , it is an amazing piece of cooking equipment.

Do you do pizza while camping ? We loved having the opportunity to have some amazing pizza during this trip and if you a pizza person , this oven might be in your wheel house. Perfect for home and portable enough to take camping !!

They are starting to become a bit more available since we filmed the video a couple of weeks ago. It’s definitely an investment, but if you are seeking about pizza and high heat cooking , it’s a winner. Thanks for checking out the video !!

Camping is different for everyone. We love being miles off the grid , but at times we also are hooked up in established campsites. No right or wrong way to do it !!
