@laurie davies Hey, it's NOT OK to be nasty to a CZcamsr just because they won't upload the episodes or storylines you want on demand. Summer Bay Journal has been amazing with uploading certain late 90s storylines like the 1997-98 Steven and Selina story which isn't online elsewhere and which I was desperate to see. These things take a lot of time and editing because it's not just plain and simple uploading whole episodes and this isn't Summer Bay Journals' job, so it does require the patience and understanding of fans. Just be grateful that he is choosing to share even just a little of his archive with us. Secondly, the whole of Blake and Fin's love story is already online elsewhere within full episodes from the 7Two repeat run. You'd be looking at episodes from July-August 1992 in approximately episodes 1060-1070. There's also over 300 episodes available elsewhere from during the Shannon era. Finally, there is no point in pitting two CZcamsrs against each other in an effort to try to get what you want, when both Summer Bay Journals and Godjenta share the common goal of sharing a love of early years Home and Away and storylines that we may not otherwise see with other fans.
What a character Diana is/was, she's got to be the best thing about the late '90s era. I must say even though she says the vilest and most hurtful things she makes a lot of sense and I always empathize with her. Chloe and Diana want the same for Lachie, they're on the same side but have the biggest personality clash. Chloe will never be good enough for Lachie as far as Diana's concerned, she's unreasonably critical of her and a nightmare to have as a mother-in-law, but she's just so good to watch. I also enjoy her getting one up on Irene because she always makes complete sense. Diana often ignores her point and throws back some facts to move the narrative along so that it's about being a mother, which Irene know's she can't argue with which is very manipulative and would be so frustrating to have to deal with There are moments when Diana appears quite sensitive towards Chloe which feels genuine. I wonder whether it's because she can see how much Chloe loves her son and that love they share for him endears her to Chloe, even if it pains her to admit it and would rather it be someone else Thanks for the uploads!
How amazing would it have been if Diana had come back when Olivia (all grown up) returned in 2015. I could imagine so many story lines of her manipulating her and swaying her away from Irene. I remember the last words Diana spoke after losing custody of Olivia in 2005 were "You haven't heard the last of me!"
I completely agree. I think on some level she does like Chloe which makes it all the more interesting. Her priority is always Lachie so if she needs to be malicious to Chloe to achieve her aims then she will be. What's even more interesting is the 180 she does after Lachie's gone. Despite Chloe never being good enough for Lachie in her eyes, she switches to PUSHING Chloe and James together (she becomes obsessed with baby Olivia as she is Lachie's child). She knows Chloe doesn't like her and feels that keeping Chloe in the family is the best way to maintain a link to Olivia so she really manipulates the hell out of James and Chloe. It's definitely one of the best arcs of the late 90s.
This is sad storyline I hope Lachie doesn't die from the brain tumor. I heard that Chloe dies . What was the cause of Chloe dying? I feel sorry for their daughter she just little girl it won't be fair if both her parents pass away and she become a orphan.😮😢
His mother is crazy she shouldn't be screaming in front of her son with Chloe in the hospital. If his mother care about him then she won't make him stress fighting with Chloe all the time. He need support from his mother and girlfriend he got brain tumor his suffering not them. Lachie mother has no right to stop Chloe and his daughter seeing him. It not fair poor Lachie his got brain tumor and his learning to talk again and he had anemisa also. His mum is jealous of Lachie relationship with Chloe. Lachie going to get angry with his mum if she take him overseas to get treatment because he can't see Chloe or his daughter. His mother selfish she only care about herself not her son. Chloe should apply for Centrelink benefit to support her daughter and herself until Lachie get out of hospital. His mum is evil she want to give Chloe alot of money to get her out of her son life.😮😢
