I don't really have strong memories of this storyline, I honestly didn't think it was so detailed for some reason I thought he had the hemorrhage and left the show within a few episodes so this storyline has been really interesting to me! It's also always nice to escape into this world and go back in time, I miss the feeling that this period stirs in me if that makes sense! Thank you
The late 90s effect.... it is very strangely and wrongly misremembered as a "poor" era of the show! I can only put it down to lack of repeats of this era. Like you I wrongly thought the storyline was done and dusted in a few episodes until I rewatched it.
It was actually a tumour, not a hemorrhage, but I agree that I didn't remember it being so detailed either. I think to be honest I was a little devastated at the time because I loved Richard Grieve 😅

@@MVK123 it was initially a tumour but he suffered a hemorrhage post-op which is what left him in this condition
