Can low porosity hair use sunflower oil instead of safflower oil? I'd appreciate any and all responses. Everyone and y'all's family always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
Hi Kimmie💕 Yes, low porosity hair can use sunflower oil as an alternative to safflower oil. Sunflower oil is lightweight and has emollient properties, making it beneficial for low porosity hair, which typically requires lighter oils for better absorption and moisture retention without causing buildup. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamins like Vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which can nourish the hair and scalp effectively. However, as with any hair care product or oil, it's always a good idea to do a patch test first or start with a small amount to see how your hair responds.
@@tialynn1111 🙏🏽 Thanks for asking 😊 a video on "how to properly keep 4c hair hydrated for longer would be great"🥰 Thank you for your kindness sis😌 Have a blessed weekend 😘😘
Hi thanks for watching Val💕 No I have not always had long hair, my hair has gone through many stages. Being cut and shaved to 2 inches at one point, relaxed and then transitioned to natural. I’ve always had a zero to low manipulation routine, but started braiding my hair in the last 2-3yrs and following this routine. I noticed much more growth /length retention utilizing these methods
Can low porosity hair use this treatment as well as the aloe vera gel w/avocado oil, glycerin and the powder (forgot the name) you mixed with the glycerin. Thank you. You and your family always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
Hi Kimberly! 💕 Low porosity hair is human hair that doesn't readily absorb water and treatments. Your hair may be low porosity if it takes a long time to wet and dry. If you use hair care products, they tend to stay on the surface of your hair rather than being absorbed. This makes hair care treatments less effective. Effective oils For low porosity Argan oil Jojoba oil Sweet almond oil Grapeseed oil Baobab oil Apricot oil Camellia oil Pomegranate oil Avocado oil Sesame oil Rosehip oil Safflower oil Bottom line Avocado oil is good for low porosity as well as oil, you just may need to customize and replace the castor oil for a lighter oil or add distilled water to the mix. Make sure to test products for sensitivity
Hi thank you so much💕 welcome I do not trim and I wash my hair w my shampoo every 4-6 weeks . I wash my scalp with my herbal aloe spray every week and rinse my hair in the shower (water wash) afterwards I always add oils back into my hair. czcams.com/video/SpQNkGQY4KY/video.htmlsi=9TOOfva_-RlCfz8O

Hi thank you 🙏🏽 💕 You’ll find that the diy will work better than the store bought products. I do not use any products from the store. I keep to my DIYs as I find store bought products either dry out or tangle my hair. I use this after I shampoo (my diy shampoo)
Hey ✨ You want to make sure the hair is not soaking wet, but damp and detangled. After the hair is detangled, you want to apply either oil or a leave in conditioner and braid the hair.
Hi thank you! Good question! Yes goal length is classic - right below butt (classic length) 😆 - will take another year for longest piece to reach it (and about 2 years for majority of hair to reach that length) Any videos you wish for me to make for you? Thank you for watching💕
No one’s asked me that, but yes it is my real hair. I want to debunk the notion or myth that black women cannot grow, or that it is hard to grow waistlength + hair. Especially for type 4 or 4C textures. Hoping these videos will show that. No my hair was not always long. It was shaved in the back and was about 1 inch all the way round when I was in early high school and it was relaxed. I didn’t do a big chop, but let it all grow out and gradually cut out the relaxed ends. Sure I can work on gathering pics and putting that together. Thanks for your input!
Ok your hair is growing, but it may be breaking as fast as it is growing. This is why you’re not seeing any length. Are you relaxed or natural? Do you use protective styles and moisturize your hair throughout week?
Thank you for watching! 💕 Yes you can replace the aloe with a tablespoon of raw honey OR a tablespoon of vegetable glycerin AND also add 1/2 cup of spring water (adjust if you want it thicker/thinner consistency) Please make sure you do a patch test to assure you are not allergic! Enjoy your weekend!💕💕

@tialynn1111 I'm 41 years old. I feel like I'm too young to be having hair lose, and it's probably because I be using these perms, I went natural back in 2017 and never put anymore chemicals in my hair. And thanks for preferring me to use other products
Oh I see - I don’t know all the details but consult doctor (diet may help) or see a dermatologist (if hair loss) Do you know for certain if there are no follicles? I think most sound advice is speaking to dermatologist and see their suggestion
@erin8120 try and stick with the natural products (castor oil, avocado oil, olive oil, rosemary , ylang ylang etc) You may soon see progression with this (yes and 0 chemicals and be very gentle and protect your edges while they grow out) Test for allergy before using
