My moisture routine is very similar to yours. Once weekly I remoisturize, using water, leave in, and then grease. I ordered MCT fractionated coconut oil, when that arrives, I'll be including that before the grease. I keep my hair in medium/ big twists instead of braids. 10 small twists at the front as a side bang similar to yours, and 10 bigger ones throughout the rest of my head. When I want to dress up and have hang time, I loose the twists at the very back and do a half up do. I spray my scalp with a herbal mix I made by steeping several tree leaves like moringa, guava, neem, rosemary, bay leaf and others, as well as clove, fenugreek and green tea. I also use a 'Growth grease' for my scalp by mixing sulfur 8, Top Brass, peppermint eo, rosemary eo, lavender eo and oregano oil. I apply that maybe twice a week. That mix also seems to have cleared up my two spots of seborrheic dermatitis that I had for as long as I can remember, even when my hair was relaxed, even before it was relaxed when I was a child, I had it! Now it's gone for a whole month- no sign of it. 🎉🎉🎉😊
Wow this sounds amazing!!! Im so happy the seb derm cleared up for you!! I was thinking of creating a video on this topic since I had this on my scalp, but since using thyme oil and vev. Oil my derm is completely cleared! Im so happy for you! Stay blessed 💕
@@tialynn1111 Nice! Thyme oil, and what's the other oil? What is vev. short for? (Sorry if it's obvious...I can't figure it out. Lol. ) Thanks so much for replying! 😃
I appreciate how you dipped oil on your ends because my ends get tangled so easily even when I add oil or product on it but I never thought about dipping.. thank you!
You’re welcome I keep them drenched lol Realistically I keep ends saturated in oils then tucked away. I then take the braid out, detangle and do routine again 1X a week. Let me knowing you need any advice/etc Thank you 💕
For me its cactus water, herbal conditioner, and an oil mixture. When it comes to leave in, rinse out, and deep conditioners I just make an herbal conditioner that stays in my hair until wash day. The conditioning process it what feeds the hair throughout the week or weeks until the next wash day, so to me there is no point in rinsing it out a conditioner or deep conditioner or mask, to then go apply leave in. Deep conditioning is the the daily reapplication of a leave in. I just treat a conditioner as one whole unit...I shampoo my hair but then out of the shower I apply my conditioner that stays in to deep condition and its reapplied as needed until the next wash day.
@@tialynn1111 It grows where I live. You prepare it just like you would aloe. You can also buy it from like a hispanic bodega or an Asian or Indian market.
I sooo agree with the conditioning advice, that's what I've started doing. I don't use rinse out conditioners after shampooing. I use a leave in that doubles as a deep conditioner. So far it seems to be working well. 😊
Beautifully done, I love using Castor oil in my oils, the oils I use are Jojoba and macadamia, Apricot oils. Thank you ever so kindly for sharing this God-Bless you 🪷
What do you use for the front of your hair? I have the same situation where the back is significantly longer than the front. I’m currently using rosemary & olive oil with sublimed sulfur to regrow parts of the front & edges because I had really bad postpartum shedding & health issues after having my daughter a few years ago. I got this from “Green beauty channel,” who’s been doing the onion juice for years now with a regimen for the last 6-7 years & it’s done great things over time
Hi thanks for watching I did cut the front of my hair for bangs, but also, I always have the front of my hair ‘out’, so this could prevent optimal length retention. My bangs reach APL - however this year I am making it a goal to grow them to BSL and beyond (for 2024) I will do this by heavily oiling the length of my hair, and on days I am not out of the house, I will keep them twisted. I will also be very careful when unraveling the ends of my twists and again keeping them oiled. I am on that 12 month challenge for my bangs. Oh yes rosemary and onion are very potent, I believe you will have great success on your hair regrowth journey. Sounds like you are taking the right steps that are great for your hair. I hope your body is back to healing (I’m sure it is) and continue to not only take care of the outside but inside w diet, water, great exercise etc (I’m sure you are doing all of this) Thank you 🙏🏽
It was the stress of raising my daughter without much help from her father & his mother that was gas-lighting me. The stress became too much so I cut it all off in 2021. Got my health back after separating from him & the abuse/ toxicity@@tialynn1111

Hi! Since this is to stay hydrated all week, at what point are you completing this leave in and oil step? Right after wash? A day after wash n in protective style?
Thank you! You have vid of a hair cream “use once a week for mega retention” is that to be used as a leave in conditioner or something else? I have the ingredients to make and want to make sure I’m using the intended way.
@mariahforbes9567 yes! It’s the best product for moisture retention The main ingredients are aloe and shea✨ If you look at the ingredients of most hair product companies these are the main ingredients that are used or water shea etc and some type of oil (castor/avocado etc)
Thanks for sharing sister. I've been following your tips for a while now, very gently detangling my hair and using only natural oils, herbs, and water. Last wash day, I barely had any shedding or breaking. I used to have clumps of hair fall out and now I only have a little shed hair and no breakage. 🥹 My hair feels a lot stronger now. Another plus of using natural products is that that mosquitos and fleas hate the smell of essential oils haha
Thank you my dear You are SO appreciated and you made my day knowing that you and your hair are thriving 💕💕💕💕 Yes lol that’s true about the bugs it’s a repellent lol
Do you ever do wash and gos? I’d be interested to see how you apply and still maintain healthy hair. I’m more of a 3b/c type but think I can use the same method, just less oil or lighter oil. Do you believe avocado oil on its own would be a good sealant? Seems a little lighter than castor for my fine hair! Thank you
No 💕my hair would be too tangled for a wash n go I have worn braid outs though, and set them with aloe juice and oils. As long as I don’t disturb the loose braid out hair, it doesn’t tangle. Some examples of moisturizing oils are coconut, avocado, and olive oils. Sealing oils don't penetrate your hair shaft but help seal in the moisture of your hair. Some examples of sealing oils are Black castor, grape-seed, and jojoba oils.
@@tialynn1111 ohhhh okay, this is making more sense to me. Thats why avocado can be used to mids/ends, bc it is moisturizing. That explains the difficulty I’ve been having with accidentally using jojoba oil on already dry hair. Makes my hair SO DRY! I need to use a different penetrating oil on already moisturized hair. Wow, my mind is blown. Thank you!!!
