Note, when making this gel, I find it comes out smoother, when straining it TWICE. Once to remove the Aloe bits and twice to remove ANY leftover guar or Xanthan gum residue.
I’ll be creating a video soon, to show how I use this Aloe gel for length retention, as well as a new improved smoother texture that contains Avocado oil. The texture should be a light custard. Perfect for providing hold to prevent hair ends from matting or tangling ! Only use a very small amount, and use mainly for hair ENDS! Stay tuned💕
    Storage:
Good for up to 3 Months unrefridgerated (Cool, dry place in a sterilized, glass jar) if broad Spectrum preservative is added. You can also store in the fridge for up to 3 months if this is your preference.
I will create a video on how I use this Aloe gel to moisturize my hair. I only use a portion and dilute it with oils.

    What grows hair?
    ✅Commitment
    ✅Consistency
    ✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.

Why do people say the latex is poison. I eat fresh aloe vera every day. I wash the outer leaf well n eat the whole aloe or I will just eat the gel. I do not soak the filet aloe. Yes there are people who are allergic to aloe vera however the latex is not poisonous.
I clean my face with aloe vera n I also place fresh aloe vera on my hair n scalp every 3 days. So it is imperative to use correct words.
Most people have learned via the education board
    Connotative language
However denotative is the root of n real meaning of words called etymology.
There is an online etymology dictionary. However it’s is best to purchase an unabridged etymology dictionary 1st,2nd,3rd,4th edition

I only shave my aloe Vera over a strainer. I love the thickness of aloe vera. When I have blended my aloe vera it is too watery for my liking. However every one prepares their aloe vera differently.

Thank you so much for sharing it is well appreciated. If I a wanted to make double the amount, do I just double the recipe or does it call for a whole new calculation?

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  Před rokem

      You’re welcome!
I wouldn’t necessarily double it, as the Xanthan makes the mix really thick… I’ll have to test this, because I haven’t made a large amount. I always make one single jar (which lasts me a while)
Word of advice - please please double strain the mix after the Xanthan gum is added to avoid small particles of the Xanthan gum in the gel.
I am publishing a smoother, new aloe gel recipe where the gel is double strained and where I add organic Avocado oil, making the gel smoother and even more moisturizing.
When using in hair, only use a very tiny amount to seal ends, as the gel will ‘set’ the style. The purpose of this gel is to seal the ends of hair to prevent them from matting and tangling on each other. Think, using as a last step to add this to the ends of braids or twists. When the gel dries, it will provide a bit of a hold. (Like setting gel) but this is what you want, because it prevents the ends of the braids or twists from merging with one another. When it’s time for take down, you simply spray the ends with water, refresh scalp, oil hair and rebraid. I’ll create a video that specifically shows this process.
Thank you for commenting and watching!💕

Thanks for taking the time to do this video. My daughter had waist length hair and do to my laziness it broke off. Im trying to get her hair back. From both methods which one do you ultimate recommend using? Please link where you got your ingredients from?
Also, my hair is in braids and I will be keeping my hair in braids for the next 12 months. Of course, getting it rebraided every 2-3 months. How can I best maximize hair growth while my hair is in braids?

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  Před rokem +1

Hi thank you for watching - sorry your daughters hair broke off. It will grow back in no time with moisture, protective styling and consistent routines.
I tested out and use both methods but I prefer the first method. It comes out a bit more clear and is more of a light gel consistency.
I’ve also created an updated, smoother moisturizing recipe, where I double strain the mix and add avocado oil. You can wait til I produce this video or use the first recipe but make sure to strain the mix a second time. (This prevents any of the Xanthan gum particles from entering the aloe)
It is ok to use as is, but I recommend to use small amounts and only on the ends to seal the hair. Also make sure you perform a patch test to assure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
I will link the ingredients in the description. Ingredients are
      Aloe leaf
      Clear cosmetic Xanthan gum
      www.craftingcosmetics.com/products/xanthan-gum-clear?_pos=1&_psq=clear&_ss=e&_v=1.0

      Geogard 221
      www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/liquids/geogard-221/V001463.html
Ok, have you worn braids for extended periods before? (2-3mo?) how does your hair react to it?
Are you adding hair? Or is it your own hair?
I know sometimes hair can matte if the shed hair is not being removed, but some people can be ok with wearing braids for long periods and not have an issue with matting.
      ( if adding hair…)
The key is to not add any more/additional buildup than what already may occur with the hair being in braids this long. Adding unnecessary products or creams that will contribute to buildup, can cause tangling.
So make sure you cleanse the scalp and hair before putting in braids, make sure the hair is thoroughly clean and hydrated.
Use a light leave in moisturizing cream initially and an oil when first installing braids. Also, while the hair is in braids, make sure you spray the hair with water only mist. Make sure you cleanse the scalp with aloe water and rosemary/basil ylang ylang weekly. The water/essential oil mix cleanses the scalp but will not add any buildup. You can add a light oil a few times a week, but not a cream, or a leave in that’s going to create major buildup. I wouldn’t use this aloe gel if wearing braids for 3months at a time that is long time. However, if wearing your own hair, you can use the aloe gel to seal the ends (using a little bit) and taking down and re doing the braids weekly.
