If you have the GFB DVX installed, you need to use the other boost tap point to the right of the 034 logo. The elbow fitting is then quite close to the turbo inlet pipe.

That bung is hard to get seated well...also TMD is easier with battery tray out as well.

Yes, you have to remove the tray. Even more so if your doing this install as you have to pre install the charge pipe and TMD together

For the crankcase breather hose reinstall around minute 7ish, have you had any issues since install when driving around?
Mine I could only wiggle on most of the way and that's with using a grease to even try and help fit onto. After a day or two of driving it's split right down the center and needing replacement.

Did you have issues with the new Venturi PCV connector connecting fully on the turbo inlet. Mine is not clicking on no matter what I do. Is there a special pinch or squeeze to do?

If you get a racingline catch can you won't have issues with it capturing oil in the catch can as they have a baffle plate to prevent it. Racingline should be the only catch can you use on these cars. I'm using it 2 years and never got a drop of oil in it.

this is mainly to have as close to oem setup that bulletproofs the pcv system and especially budget friendly, catch cans are hella expensive

@@TheShadowang1s what are cons getting a racing line or spulen (both with pcv plate) compare to this mk8 retrofit pcv?

Nylon tape too would be good for getting a good seal and tight fit for the fittings
Not sure if you used that already

Does the new pcv pipe release from the turbo elbow easily or is it like the stock one

Any Updates on how the retro fit been working for big turbo?

Is this idea for only big turbo or would work for stock turbo too?

it works for stock too. if your oem pcv is failing this is a good upgrade.

Aftermarket pcv/oil catch cans are utterly useless on these cars
