Ooh, this one really looks like it's up my alley. These days I just require a strong solo variant for all my game investments. I liked Lords Of Waterdeep but always lamented no solo mode for it; this has a lot of similarities, and the advancements all appeal to me. I like the idea of a tournament, the art style speaks to me, and I always appreciate when games try to worldbuild. Problem is I'll probably want the deluxe and that means more $$ if it's even available, sigh. Thanks for the review!
Considering that in their main review the biggest problem everybody mentioned was the downtime on other players turns, I would feel that the solo amd two player variants might actually be an improvement
