@@TheXxjackchopxX Something being demonstrated with gel doesn't necessarily mean it can only be done with gel, which is why I asked.
You can do a matte base layer of color and then glossy same color to do the design. It isn’t as sharp but it’s cute 👍

No top coat? Top coat on my textured nail art flattens the texture and makes it spread. Is that normal???
No top coat, just the matte top coat before the design!
