Man I’m happy Salt Baker got a redemption arc. Lowkey felt bad when his bakery broke down…even tho he’s pretty much guilty of attempted murder lmao

I love the animated cutscenes not that they were needed but a wish the Netflix show actors voiced the characters but besides that love the dlc
I think that would make it lose the "1930 cartoon" theme it is trying to make. Only screaming and goofy sounds are allowed. 🤣

@@thecomicbookfan2018 technically he didn't tried to kill them. Cuphead was already dead because his soul was imprisonned, not his body so it's not murder if the person is already dead

I don't have the dlc (and I wished I still had a few dollars in my nintendo account at least to buy the dlc) and I realised the song playing in the epilogue was about chef salt baker feeling guilty about what he did and how he let all that power of bringing someone back from the dead to help miss chalice and even going as far as having to use souls
well there's one way to play it if your willing to, sail the seas if you know what i mean.
@@UntalentedBrick no worries, the same day I made this comment, I ended up getting a 25 dollar gift card from my mom and I was able to get it. So basically I still got it the same day it was released, and only took me about a week to beat all the bosses, a couple of weeks tho if I was trying to 100 percent the dlc

Its nice that in the base game devil is still gone for but saltbaker is forgiven since he has served and proven to be a help
I wish the Netflix show had the same animation style as the actual game
It would take 10 years for that to happen my friend ,as the whole game was hand drawn
I heard they actually were gonna do traditional animation like the game but they went for digital to meet streaming guidelines or something

They found a way for her to be alive
So I guess they did find the magic for chalice to become alive or ghost again (Netflix show reveals she can switch between ghost and living) for her? That or maybe the epilogue is non-canon? Or maybe the whole dlc is non-canon? I can’t tell anymore.
@@lucaschannel726 The Cuphead Show is an alternate universe to the Cuphead game. It's not meant to be one-to-one.
Some Notable Key Differences:
--In the show, only Cuphead gets his soul marked by losing a game of Soul Ball. In the game, both Cuphead & Mugman get their souls marked after losing a round of craps.
--In the show, King Dice hosts his own game show, "Roll the Dice", instead of operating the Devil's Casino (which doesn't appear in the show at all) like in the game.
--Ms. Chalice is a lot more devious and less friendly in the show than in the game, in addition to not being stuck in the astral plain.
--Henchman is a show exclusive minion to the Devil.
--As of the first twelve episodes, Cuphead & Mugman don't have any of their run & gun abilities.
@@lucaschannel726 Nope. The Cuphead Show isn't Canon to the game. It's more like an alternate universe or something. Plus, Chalice just met them the first time on the show.
They probably found a way to revive her. As of the writing of this comment, there are no plans to continue Cuphead with anymore DLC or a Sequel. In fact, if I remember correctly, I think the creators are working on another hand drawn game that’s separate from Cuphead. So my point in saying all of that is that Chalice finding life again isn’t gonna ever be followed up and so the epilogue was probably the answer to whether she found a way to the physical plain again or not. At least that’s my interpretation. Another interpretation is that ITS A CARTOON!!

Like Demons with Cat Ears said, there is actually a cutscene that describes his motives, which does exactly what you're saying the game doesn't do. Doesn't matter whether there's time or not, because it's not "hey friend I'm evil now."
