But since she is in a relationship with Jonathan and she couldn't love him back, he lost hope and tried to date other girls (including Robin in S3) to forget Nancy, because he is still not over her. There is a reason why he couldn't get involved with someone to this day! His Heart only includes NANCY when it comes to feelings and his future dreams. Robin is a good diversion, because she is funny and hilarious, like he pointed out, but that's it. They are platonic soulmates and best friends. They having fun together, teasing each other and enjoying each others company in a playful and carefree way, but it's totally clear, that Steve has NO romantic feelings for her. Season 4 makes it even more clear. Just look how he acts towards Nancy compared to robin. Two totally different ways of behaviour. Towards Nancy he acts a bit awkward and shy, because he tries to hold back his feelings, because she is still taken. But with Robin he is outspoken because he has literally NOTHING to hide! You don't have to be a psychologist to figure out what is going on between the lines lol. I don't understand, why some people think he is in love with Robin, when he clearly isn't. 😅 he loves NANCY only. Always had.
