I glued the rear panel of my 1/48 M1A2 Abrams tank in the incorrect position a few days ago with Tamiya extra thin cement. Just realized it, panicked, and then just found this video. Your tip worked brilliantly! I had originally put on more glue than I likely needed so it took two passes in quick succession to do the trick. Fantastic tip, cheers from Canada
you absolute legend! just helped an absolute newbie at warhammer get the paldrans off his space wolves to get the new wolf plate ones on. I thank you good sir! ❤❤
Mate you are a genius. Although I used Revell Contacta Liquid, applying more of it didn’t work. So using your theory of the glue warming up the plastic I put my parts under the hot tap and bingo they came apart.

works! managed to rip off a flamer turret, hull flamer and dozer blade off a chimera using this method, no real damages, only minor cleanups.
