I would love for these long videos to have chapters
Time stamps at least
They get paid based off mins watched. Thats why there is so much filler. Sometimes it’s 10mins talking about fantasy football and such. The take 15 mins of talking points and make it an hour for money reasons
😂💯
@@blazing6string Great point.
I love the content, but it does seem like a 20 minute video turns into an hour as Trevor repeats the same point 3 times.
@@ericmcgilp9704😂
spoke like a coach that knows he's as good as gone 😂😂😂
They couldnt fire him fast enough
Is he fired yet
fr they should have left his bald head at the airport in Denver like the sixers did to harden
They disrespect tf out of Vogel, after a ring. But this guy is still our coach
@@We__Lit they have to play the PR game this time so they can get a good coach to come in. Sucks for us fans who want blood but probably better for the team overall.
Vogel has a big 3 and got swept.😁
How ironic Darvin Ham saying a starter is 💩 a bed as a player while he’s crapping the bed as a coach and won’t take any accountability on his end. Took this dude about 50 games before he started his 5 best players 🤦🏾♂️
That’s the problem tho. Our best 5 players are the reason we lost against denver. They aren’t that good.
@@wills.9422exactly 😆😆😆😆 ppl talking about the regular season but when things matter 3 out of the 5 sh*** the bed. Reaves the only one i give a pass cause he was actually spending energy guarding Murray
@@wills.9422 It would have been good enough to get a higher seed. Most likely still would have lost to Denver eventually but that’s not an excuse to not maximize the roster and build continuity as a coach.
An easier 1st and 2nd round could’ve bought time for Vando or Wood to get back. A coaches job is to maximum the roster. Playing your best players doesn’t seem like too much to ask.
@@wills.9422most teams dont have a starting 5 as good as nuggets. Id argue none. Wolves maybe close. Thunder? Naw thunder win by committee. Plus lakers keptd it close and were winning most of these games
@@richards3695 Rui improved game 5 a lot. But it took him until game 5. Austin was good 3 out of 5 games and he hit a bunch of late clutch shots in game 5. DLo just wasn't there enough and didn't do enough game 5. He was OK, but he needed to be better.
“Summer league is basically an expired bag of Dorritos” - Trevor Lane 2024. 😆I love you guys
😂😂
😂😂
Ham is making it easier to fire him, as if there weren't enough reasons already.
This season far more frustrating than last. Lead the defending champs 75% the minutes and STILL lose 4-1? The TWolves Thunder Celtics have led their series significant amounts as well and they’re all winning in sweeps or 4-1. Something ain’t right. And we all know what those reasons are. Smh. I’m pulling for TWolves here on out. Please take DEN out.
That's what happens when you have no D from the backcourt, and no bench play, and a no show by Rui for most of the series. Too bad we didn't have Drummond or DJ. 6 fouls of laying some serious wood on the Joker, with AD getting a breather, would have been huge .
@@vernpascal1531 yeah but do you REALLY think Ham would’ve played Drummond? Different coach, but Drum got 0 play his stint here. And Ham never tried AD + Hayes in segments throughout the season. I know some of y’all don’t like Hayes but he’s a young athletic 7footer and a lob threat. He could’ve helped on the boards and grown throughout the season especially if LBJ and AD spam the PnR. On another note, I really think the league is shifting back to the big man. I hate how MIN is rocking all these bigs and we never replicated the 20 formula. It’s insane the FO is that inept.
That's what happens when your coach is inexperienced. It took him 3 games to realize he should use Jaxson Hayes when AD is resting.
This mf didn't even attempt to see if Christie could be a good 3&D option for us. He might've defended Murray well but we'll never know because DARVIN didn't give us a chance to see.
@@improbablyyourdad8458 Same stuff i've been saying ,is is all Ham's fault?? No but most of it is..Lakers have a lead and nuggets get on a run and gain momentum this dude took forever to call timeout..Add that with what you said and that's the series
@@improbablyyourdad8458lol but we were winning every game, so the coach did something right. We loss every game in last 5 mins because Denver’s starting 5 was better than ours.
At this point, Darvin is burning bridges acting unprofessional as a head coach. At least throw hints and messages rather than acting like a teen in high school.
That Part!!!
He’s not a head coach he wasn’t gonna get another job anyways
If you noticed LeBron never threw him under the Bus but the things he did was head scratching
Yeah this is just pathetic. I still can’t remember ever hearing Ham take accountability for anything, and yet he’s quick to point the finger at others. He’s proving he has no leadership traits and showing why he failed as a head coach.
He made 15M. He's done coaching. 😂
If he has any sense he invests that money. At 5% interest rates, Ham will soon make 15000000 x 0.05 = 750000. That puts him in the 20% capital gains bracket, which means he retains 600k in yearly tax free income. That's 50k monthly for the rest of his life. You can pretty much rent any Miami penthouse you like and lease any car you want, have a 2 week vacation per month, fly first class, hire a cook, a nanny and a cleaning person and watch Netflix all day long or something.
But then again it's Darwin Ham so he might end up leasing a plane, cooking a Nanny, flying around for 2 weeks per month, vacating a penthouse and flicking around Netwatch.
the only group of ppl darvin ham needs to manage is group of teenagers on a midnight shift at mcdonalds
I would disagree about that too
😂😂😂😂
Knowing Darvin Ham he would put the fry guy on the register and have the cashier making burgers
@@erikdayne5429he would have a 3 cashier line up
Don't fool yourself, he couldn't manage a mcd...
One thing I bet ppl are not considering is that the Lakers front office WOULD LOVE , to be the ones hosting Lebrons farewell tour , are talking about sold out seats to every game that year
I would hope that the Lakers in the off season would finally get a huge center to help AD & another forward such Kuzma.
That is step #1. Get back to what WORKED in the BUBBLE. AD needs to go back to the 4 to beat Denver.
Depends on what money…
Dwight Howard is in basketball shape and no injuries, they could use a center coming off the bench for 5 to 7 minutes who has a successful track record
@@James-sq8jx Exactly and you could get him for the veteran minimum. It was a fatal mistake to get rid of him & Mcgee in the first place.
Glad to hear your dog is doing better. Dogs are the best of us.
"This quote just shattered Darvin!" BAWHAHAHHAAAAAA!
Dlo threw super subliminal jabs during press conferences
Peace! Clearly passive aggressive 😅!!!!!!! DLO
Darvin going ham!
First off, no matter what coach you have in place. U can't be piecing a team together Year after Year and expect to win. Chemistry, a bench that can actually put up points. You can't rely on just two players to carry especially one older and the other on a bit fragile.
Facts
They did have chemistry this year. They brought back almost the same team from last year.
@@erikdayne5429 not really, it takes more than 6 months to really build a team without so many injuries and especially late trades from last year.
@@sirmiguel6331they had more than 6 months. They made those trades at the deadline last year which means they had a year and a half to build chemistry. Vando was the only player from last year who had any significant injuries, LeBron AD Dlo and Reaves all played more than 70 games and Rui played 68. They had time to build chemistry but they couldn’t because Ham kept switching up the rotations, such as benching Reaves for Reddish or benching Rui for Prince.
As a lakers fan, these impatient folks don’t know any better.
🤣🤣🤣 trev explaining his story about his dog, meanwhile I'm wondering why Sean keeps smiling during a sad story and trevor explains the good news 😂 I was about to say damn sean is messed up lol
Answer is simple.....if we don't get Ty Lue, elevate Phil Handy to HC and augment the staff with genius X&Os ACs, 1 on O like Rondo and one on D.... We need specialist role as coaches.
Then, The 1st order of business is to get a big bruising rebounding center to back up AD and then work on the margins to supplement the roster. I think losing DLo for nothing might not be as big a deal as we're making it out to be.....I think a guard rotation of Gabe, AR, Max, JHS and a FA signing should be fine....
Hoping for a bigger role for Max Christie next season.
JJ Reddick and/or Rajon Rondo as assistants/coach would be intriguing, also.
Super thankful to have yall in this desert of a postseason!
Accountability is exactly what Mark Jackson spoke about on his podcast this week. It was in regards to coaching the Lakers specifically and managing the stars holding them accountable as well. Can we please give the guy an interview at least?
Let’s see, since Bron has been here, Like Walton, Vogel who just got swept by the Timberwolves without Bron, and now Ham…Overlooking Ty Lue and Mark Jackson. What exactly are they using to make these decisions? A coin flip?
You mention 'holding the stars accountable', but we're talking about the LeEGO led Lakers. NO ONE coaches LeEGO, he does what he wants, says what he wants, and he's got Jeannie Buss's blessings. Maybe her cootchie, too.
No. Nobody wants Mark Jackson.
LeBron makes the coaching decisions for the Lakers....
@@paolo-n2000 Thats nonsense. He wanted Ty Lue
No sermons in thlaker locker room e
He was definitely talking about Austin Reaves because of how he played after the Olympics ‼️
Darvin saying that in the exit is a literal death knell. No way he’s going to come back from that level of lack of accountability. That’s pretty wreckless for a head coach to say about a current player. And very defensive.
Great commentary, guys! You always highlight all the real stuff that matters. Thank you! Hang in there, Laker Nation. Better days are coming, with a new coach.✊🏾
Darvin clearly knows he is on his way out, and he is taking his shots.
Just going out of his way to make himself un-hirable after this lmao

The chicken nuggets is the Spurs the Lakers had to deal with in the Kobe Shaq Era before they won a championship. Lakers need to try to get Mitchell or just try to sign Paul George.

So glad to hear your dog is doing better!
I almost cried with the dog thing. Only had 1 dog in my life one i grew up with when i was younger but i love dogs and want to have one again just cant really afford one. Hope the dog keeps doing better
Sean’s been a great addition to show 💯
Glad the dog 🐕 is good 😂 scared me for a moment 😂
What a touching dog story! I was with tears hearing this story!

That was a good analogy Trevor lol
Sean stop suggesting coaches. You’re not good at it.
It feels good not having to watch a team that has been 50/50 all season.
Good break till Late October
Bring on the next season hopefully a better one for the lakers 🤞🏼
Same thing happened to our 2 yr old dog, had X-rays done but they were negative. I think it was because he was stressed out (we had grad party that weekend with lots of people) & I had been running him 4-5 mi everyday during that week. So glad Baylor is ok!!!
He was talking about Austin Reeves
That’s the million dollar question! 😂😂
I think so too but that’s terrible. Reaves was coming off a team USA run in the offseason and he just got a big contract. It makes sense Reaves might start off the season a little slow. For a coach to have a quick trigger on a guy like that is a bad sign for the coach not the player. He should have expected Reaves might struggle early and instilled more confidence in him by sticking with him instead of doing the exact opposite.
I think he was as talking about Rui he played terrible the last few games of the season which includes this playoff series. lines up with the "10 games" he was talking about
@@cjvaye99 interesting because Rui had a solid playoff run last season, and got zero burn to start the season. That wrecked his confidence imo, he was a shell of himself this playoffs.
@@Syzygy88 exactly why Darvin is a moron. he messed with the lineups too much. the team didn't get to the establish their roles and confidence. Ham is in over his head
I love exit interviews and the days following. Nothing like that Laker Exit drama 🔥
You shouldn't we absolutely love it ham was a anchor on our team if you were smart you'd root for him like Michael malone trying to keep us handicapped by this ham sandwich
Trevor is indeed a World Class podcaster
The Best for Lebron is to find a team that’s already built to give him another championship. MIAMI, New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Golden State could give him what he needs.
Yes would love to give mark jackson coach again!!!
I had a Doggo that had the same issue as Baylor, vets ruled it rown to a nerve stinger. Hopefully its nothing more then that. Good luck!
Shirt is fire 🔥🔥
Trevor, my god; I had a dog that died with some neurological something, unable to walk; one day she got ill, 9 days later, she died. You almost killed me when you talked about your dog Baylor (yeah, you said "uplifting", but my gosh!).
Glad he's alright. I'm happy for him, you and your wife!
prayers up to baylor man. we had a dachshund who had a similar issue named waffle. - she lost all feeling in her legs and back and had to get surgery, that process was so insane, so heartwarming to see her walk even with a wobble these days. i'm loving the baylor news for now trev!!
Ham has never taken accountability for his numerous coaching mistakes. He needs to be fired ASAP and replaced with a competent coach who really knows X's & O's and how to bring out the best in the players.
I remember us fan clamoring for Ham’s head after last season and Trev/Sean coming to his defense. What say you now?
I think we balanced Darvin credit/criticism appropriately this season
More cat cameos!❤😂
I needed some lakers content thank you. So glad Baylor doing good
I think Darvin was talking about D-Lo and Austin. He had beef with both of them
Glad to hear your dog recovered. I had a cat I had to put down at a young age because his rear legs kept going paralyzed and he'd be in pain and freaking out. I felt so bad. It was rough.
Hate that part of pet ownership. It’s so hard
¿when is darvin ham getting fired? 💜🐷💛
Probably after Finals ❤
@@kennethcalimpong7919 too long shoulda been after game 5

If anyone has shit The bed this season it’s ham sandwich. He’s taken zero responsibility or accountability for anything. He’s the goddamn head coach. It’s all his responsibility.
I know its early but, might be a good thing trying to get Lauri Markkanen. Dude its 7 ft tall, can shoot the 3PT, he can rebound and score +20ppg a season. Hachimura was straight trash this playoffs and in the season he was very inconsistent. Might be better trying to do a trade there and keep Lauri instead of going for a big contract like Trae 40M, Lauri its only making 18M and Lakers could resign him.
LBJ - AD - Lauri - AR - Dinwiddie(1 Year VetMin)/Gabe?
Bench: Vanderbilt - Max (pay him and PLAY HIM) - Sign a Center - Dinwiddie/Gabe? - dosent look that bad and you still gotta see what the rest does with player options and MLE from the Lakers. Maybe Sign and Trade Dlo for a big ? idk, just random ideas.
So glad to hear your dog is doing fine. I know the feeling. My dog is an anxious fellow and sometimes I get freaked out myself when he gets into an anxiety attack. I know what to do if it happens but me being anxious myself, it scares the hell out of me. But yeah, good to hear Baylor is doing fine.
Lakers related: Darvin Ham definitely needs to go.
The first thing Laker upper management should do is give Ham a pink slip immediately. His decision making in the playoffs is self explanatory. His relationship and communication with his players is obviously concerning. In addition, Rob and upper management should immediately schedule a garage sale with the following Mash Medical Unit: Wood, Cam, Vincent, D’Lo, Dimwittee,
Remember how you and your cohosts were defending HAM when we were calling him out? Good to know you finally caught up.
Thats likely because you overreacted like spergs to every indecision reasonable or unreasonable. Perhaps analyzing mistakes over time is better than “DARVIN HAM SUCKS FIRE HIM” after game 4 in the season. They made an informed opinion over a long period of assessment. If people listened to “fans” like you guys the roster would be changed every loss and Lebron woulda been traded for potato chips
you clearly only followed this channel during the first quarter of the season.
Sprained his paw going for a rebound.😊
The doritos analogy gave this video an automatic Like
If I was the GM he'd be fired for not having Austin in the game when it mattered most in game 5, what kind of bone headed HC would do that?
i think lakers are in a good spot to improve the roster if dlo opts in to his player option
Sean’s wish came true…..AD over Bron 😂 big shouts out to LakersNation. Thanks Trev.
that franchise doesn't care on winning its because darvin ham is still employed to this day.... they don't want to win another ring with 23 on their roster to protect someone else legacy

Wow. Remember where we all were last year this time?
Great story re Baylor... the rest, so sad... Lakers man, too soon... opinion coming later when I recover. 👍🏼😎
let build the team out fresh!
LA pretty clearly needs a big rebuild. Lebron def needs to head somewhere else that’s got something better going on
In Game 2, Peyton Watson had just given up a basket to Dlo. Mike Malone pulled him to the side and instructed him on how to improve his defense. He ended the conversation with "...it's okay. You did what we told you to do. That's on us [coaches]." That's the kind of accountability you will never see from Ham.
Let's get Kuzma back. Its crazy they traded him and 4 other players for someone who isnt there anymore. If they didn't want to get another center to play with AD, Kuz would be a good option at the 4. He's 6 10 with length that can get buckets and defend. He also could helpnon the boards. He would've been good to guard MPJ
Kuz don't want to be a 3rd banana behind AD and Lebron anymore
True you're rite, but it sucks that they had him and weren't very patient with him
We want PHIL HANDY as COACH please !!!! Keep max reddish and rebuild around AD MAX and REDDISH
Oh and VANDO
Reddish cant shoot, until he can shoot consistently, hes a issue. If hes willing to stay on minimum salary tho keep him.
We don't need him to shit as much as we need his D# .. and rim attack gos a long way..
I wonder could picks and bench players turn into DeAndre Ayton
Hate the Lakers with the fire of 1,000 suns, but as someone with a dog going through cancer treatments, story at the end had me tearing up. Nothing but ❤ to your good boy/girl
Darvin “we’ll be fine” Ham
I wish they uploaded this to Apple Podcasts faster
Lakers could have beaten other teams remaining if they had passed the Nuggets’ test. Unfortunately they lost being led in every games. Hope they will come back stronger but hard to predict the future.
Yes why would you give an update on Vando like he’s coming back. I was looking for a Vando return.
i have never seen a coach in any kind of sport that is this disrespectful and childish. Dude really blamed everything on his players. I deadass want this dude jobless for the rest of his life
Players are becoming soft😂. Coaches use to say way worse! But we have had 3 coaches in 5 years. This is only his 2nd year as a head coach. Despite his struggle, they went to West Finals and this year won more games than last year. If we were in the East we be top 4. An we lost to defending champs. He deserves at least 1 more year. If he doenst fix the issues then fire him. We have been hurt all year and we just need 1 more player.
How many teams in the league have had the same coach for 5 years? Damn Bucks had 3 coaches in 1 year

I'm still in disbelief on how we lost this series. We literally had every game within reach. Wasn't like they blew the brakes off us.
Nobody else but Bron and AD showed up. I advocated to resign Rui and Reaves but Holy hell they were a huge let down this series. Hopefully they go in the off season into next year with a chip on their shoulder.
Rui, Reeves,Vando, Ad are all locked into contracts the rest can go
Reaves is an elite role player. You keep him like they shoulda kept caruso. Still an important part of this team doing anything. That being said obviously lakers need size better defense better shooting etc etc. 3-d wings and a big strong center for jokic/embiid/kat. Rui is a solid player but reallt struggled. I wish they could merge rui and vando and make the ultimate player. Vando and energy players were sorely missed tho.
Reaves showed up and especially in Game 5. He hit a good amount of clutch shots late in the 4Q in game 5. He did miss the last one, one he usually makes. But he went to the line 8 times and scored 9 4Q points. that's showing up. And he was active on defense on Murray, a guy nobody is stopping. Plus he had some steals. Reaves only sucked games 1 and 2 and he stated so. Rui was awful until game 5. DLo is a problem because when his shots don't fall, he doesn't do enough of the other things that help a team win (rebound, defense, get to the line).
Ham has always played the blame game on someone else other than him. I have never seen a more unprofessional coach than Ham. Sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet for your team and take the blame, then try and fix it. Ham just blames others and thinks he's perfect.
If Lakers had ANY coach other than the Hamster, they would have won game 2 and game 5. Lead in both, and gave up the lead mostly due to poor coaching choices.
Maybe its time for jeannie to make the bob myers call and fire rob and let bob run the show
D Ham might have been talking about Austin Reaves early on this season.
THANK GOD YOUR DOG IS BACK TO GOOD HEALTH!!!🐶🐶🐶
Branch Rickey once famously said “it’s always better to get rid of a player a year too early than a year too late “…times have changed indeed…
Coaching or playing for the Lakers is tough. The fans want to compare every performance to the top 100 games in team history
