That puts him in the 20% capital gains bracket, which means he retains 600k in yearly tax free income. That's 50k monthly for the rest of his life. You can pretty much rent any Miami penthouse you like and lease any car you want, have a 2 week vacation per month, fly first class, hire a cook, a nanny and a cleaning person and watch Netflix all day long or something.

    Answer is simple.....if we don't get Ty Lue, elevate Phil Handy to HC and augment the staff with genius X&Os ACs, 1 on O like Rondo and one on D.... We need specialist role as coaches.
    Then, The 1st order of business is to get a big bruising rebounding center to back up AD and then work on the margins to supplement the roster. I think losing DLo for nothing might not be as big a deal as we're making it out to be.....I think a guard rotation of Gabe, AR, Max, JHS and a FA signing should be fine....

    I know its early but, might be a good thing trying to get Lauri Markkanen. Dude its 7 ft tall, can shoot the 3PT, he can rebound and score +20ppg a season. Hachimura was straight trash this playoffs and in the season he was very inconsistent. Might be better trying to do a trade there and keep Lauri instead of going for a big contract like Trae 40M, Lauri its only making 18M and Lakers could resign him.
    LBJ - AD - Lauri - AR - Dinwiddie(1 Year VetMin)/Gabe?
    Bench: Vanderbilt - Max (pay him and PLAY HIM) - Sign a Center - Dinwiddie/Gabe? - dosent look that bad and you still gotta see what the rest does with player options and MLE from the Lakers. Maybe Sign and Trade Dlo for a big ? idk, just random ideas.

    The first thing Laker upper management should do is give Ham a pink slip immediately. His decision making in the playoffs is self explanatory. His relationship and communication with his players is obviously concerning. In addition, Rob and upper management should immediately schedule a garage sale with the following Mash Medical Unit: Wood, Cam, Vincent, D’Lo, Dimwittee,

Perhaps analyzing mistakes over time is better than “DARVIN HAM SUCKS FIRE HIM” after game 4 in the season. They made an informed opinion over a long period of assessment. If they didn't want to get another center to play with AD, Kuz would be a good option at the 4. He's 6 10 with length that can get buckets and defend.He also could helpnon the boards. Players are becoming soft😂. Coaches use to say way worse! But we have had 3 coaches in 5 years. This is only his 2nd year as a head coach. Despite his struggle, they went to West Finals and this year won more games than last year. If we were in the East we be top 4. An we lost to defending champs. He deserves at least 1 more year. If he doenst fix the issues then fire him. We have been hurt all year and we just need 1 more player.

      Reaves is an elite role player. You keep him like they shoulda kept caruso. Still an important part of this team doing anything. That being said obviously lakers need size better defense better shooting etc etc. 3-d wings and a big strong center for jokic/embiid/kat. Rui is a solid player but reallt struggled. I wish they could merge rui and vando and make the ultimate player. Vando and energy players were sorely missed tho.

    • @benjaminsmith2287
      @benjaminsmith2287 Před měsícem

      Reaves showed up and especially in Game 5. He hit a good amount of clutch shots late in the 4Q in game 5. He did miss the last one, one he usually makes. But he went to the line 8 times and scored 9 4Q points. that's showing up. And he was active on defense on Murray, a guy nobody is stopping. Plus he had some steals. Reaves only sucked games 1 and 2 and he stated so. Rui was awful until game 5. DLo is a problem because when his shots don't fall, he doesn't do enough of the other things that help a team win (rebound, defense, get to the line).
