I would like to help you with this. Now, that you have mentioned about Veer Savarkar's mercy petitions, I just want to ask you one thing to begin with. Do you know how many mercy petitions has he submitted in a span of 10 yrs and have you read the content of atleast one of the "many" mercy petitions?

I would like to help you with this. Now, that you have mentioned about Veer Savarkar's mercy petitions, I just want to ask you one thing to begin with. Do you know how many mercy petitions has he submitted in a span of 10 yrs and have you read the content of atleast one of the "many" mercy petitions?

@@irshadahmedsyed the concept of India and fighting against Britishers came late 1800s that why the First revolt of Independence was complete failure inspite of lot of kings involved in it. Everyone cared for their own territory. So glorifying Tipu just becoz he had fought against Britishers doesn't make him great because he simply protected his empire and evry person would have done so. If Britishers hadn't conquered him it would have been the French army lead by Dupleix who would have ruled. Plz check facts instead of arguing.

Tippu is the reason of islamfication of malabar part of kerala, the kerala muslims of malabar who till then used to be allies of zamorin of calicut, kannur etc...one fine morning joined with tipu, and ambushed calicut, kannur and other small malabr kingdoms and aided tipu in conquering all of malabar till travacore, all the defeated people where either killed or converted into islam, eg: nilambur kovilakom, and women were taken as slaves(a normal thing those days), where ever tippu had military garrisons the population were converted to islam, in calicut, malappuram, aluva, angamali, wayanad...diety of guruvayoor was taken by priests to escape sword of tipus army.. It was travancore which stopped aggression of tipu on kerala, the king of travancore earned the title "dharma raja" for his effort in stopping the atrocities against hindus...
