Always love to hear a great earth groans song. The band as a whole has really came a long way with their sound and I love how each song can sound different and exciting to hear. The lyrics for this sound amazing and I understood that at the beginning it was talking about the tribulation, but I'm a little confused as the song goes on. Please let me know if anyone knows the meaning behind the song.
This song is talking about how the struggles of life can drain you of your "water". You may go through a "drought" where you get nothing to grow. Just a dry and barren desert. Meaning more hard times then good times. This can leave you hopeless. But the last lyrics say " The life turned bitter will be made sweet again." Meaning that the drought won't last forever. The rain will come and make things sweet. The Christian message of this is that God will bring you out of the drought with the rain. It could also to suggest in His promise to make everything right when His Son Jesus comes back.
