Daniel Gailey really saved his best riffs for this album. Sean brings it. Song rules, album rules, Phinehas deserves more recognition.
The drummer is insane, too. His footwork on War You Know is incredible.
Agreed, Dan has always been a fantastic guitarist but he seamlessly wove Jason's style into his work on this album which, combined with Sean's vocal performance (which felt like it did on The Last Word) and just fantastic songwriting, it created their best album in YEARS. I love all of their stuff but I've always had a soft spot for their first two albums and this one absolutely competes with both of them!

Man… I have been sleeping on these guys for years… finally really gave them a chance… my face is melted.
This band is up there with AILD, KsE, and ABR bringing together that classic metalcore sound but with modern quality production. I just wish they could have released music videos before the official album released.
This sounds a lot like the heavier side of FFAK

Hands down the most underrated band in the scene. Huge props to whoever mixed this album as well. AOTY for me personally.
That would be Carson Slovak & Grant McFarland. They've produced and mixed albums for other bands like Like Moths To Flames, From Ashes To New, ERRA, and August Burns Red.
I remember when these dudes were still signed to Red Cord Records when they first dropped the God Machine. So glad to see they’re getting much deserved recognition.
I want them on ffak's level of popularity!

The fact that it addresses real life like hell (which without Christ we are all destined for) doesn’t make it not ministry and ministering to people.

Sounds very generic to me... like a lot of other core breakdowns
The production on this album is absolutely stellar. Every instrument is crystal clear and bass hits hard.
Same dudes who mixed last Like Moths to Flames record or last Erra one, it sounds incredible for sure

They recorded the whole album in different parts of the country never being in the same room as well. Them filming the music video was the first time they had seen each other in like two years.

That's exactly what drew me to liking these guys, strong AILD vibes, the solos hit hard and I catch myself subconsciously rocking my head back and forth. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Saw these guys in Lawrence Kansas they opened for Like moths to a flame. Hung out with them after the show. Super awesome show super awesome guys. I love knowing about bands before they make it and especially the ones that deserve it. Phineas rocks and rolls

ive been following Phinehas for almost 10 years and I still think there the most underrated metalcore band, and these new album may be there best work yet.
They've had some great work throughout the years. But to me it's just like somethings is missing from them. It's the cleans for me.

Dating myself here, but this album may be the best overall metalcore album since AILD's An Ocean Between Us...and it may be better than that album. I've had this spinning on repeat since I found it a week or so ago. So incredibly nostalgic. The riffs, solos, drum work, vocals, and production are all just stellar.

When I was growing up one of my favorite bands was August Burns Red, and who the hell knows what happened to them, but these guys I daresay are EVEN BETTER!
As a three and a half week old Christian, I've been dreading having to stop listening to my favorite bands, (Like Lamb Of God or Slaughter To Prevail) but I didn't really have anything to replace it with. Thank God I found these guys!!!

I had headbanged with this song in loop yesterday while making dinner. Woke up today with vertigo, nausea and apparently an acute BPPV (Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). Scared me to death being not able to stand up today, but it's nothing, your music was so good and I had to headbang like crazy making my otolith moving around.

One of the best metalcore songs ever made! Those breakdowns are heartbreaking. I listen every day to this and also for all eternity, dont care about the christian stuff, they just make GREAT music!
This or Defining Moments are my favorite on the album. Every time I listen, I usually run through the whole thing. All solid tunes. I love it.
