The way the old boy jumped into( and out of) the rescue raft , and the way he stood unaided tells me he wasted the fire brigades time !! 🏴👍
The driver didn't want to get his feet wet.
Motorists literally don't want to lift a finger, and when they screw up (which is often) its down to the emergency services no less to bail them out.
I'm sure the firefighters put it down as Core Professional Development 😃
@bitmadmax the driver should be charged for wasting valuable Emergency Response resources. Pathetic.
Didn't look that old to me & I'm 66. 😂
In the meantime someone's house might have been burning down.
Blue lighted it too! "Please come quickly, there's a chap sat comfortably in his car!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank god the fire brigade were called for that severe emergency!!
with an ambulance there is a call out fee when there is an accident....paid by the 'non victim' in accidents
Soon this will be impossible because all gas and diesel cars will be forbidden.
the rescue was hilarious! must have been piranha’s in the water 😂
Just didn’t want to get his toes wet…😂
😂😂
That rescue was hilarious.
Poor old bloke had no idea where he was or who he was lol
I am amazed that the fire service needed to boat that man from his car in 9 inches of water.
😂😂😂👍🏻
How embarrassing
The gentleman had a medical condition perhaps. Similar to the one who had to be extracted from the ford in our village that has been featured earlier on this channel.
good to see they had life jackets on thow lol
I think 9" is being generous 😂
hi, the fire dept needs to send that clown a massive bill for rescue
He is old and has paid taxes all his life. He can do what he wants if he feels the need for them so be it.
@@yy17782...no he can't just do whatever he wants just because he's old and has (possibly) paid taxes. He needs to take responsibility.
The police will have called the fire service.
@@doktoruzoif he got out the car, fell down a dislodged manhole cover under the water and broke his hip would you be saying he shouldn't receive medical care?
Wrong ! He could've just got out and walked a few feet to the footpath whereas someone trapped in a burning house needs help immediately.
Loved the fiesta and golf going onto the side to get through
I've just sent this video to Enterprise van rental .... 😂
Keep us posted on their response 😂
That Jag was impressive getting through that.
Breaks my heart that someone would do that to a Jag :(
Very lucky…😅
Brilliant video!! can’t believe the fire service came out for that mondeo
Mondeo man. Very common species back in the day. But very rare now, worth saving.... 😂
Thanks mate!
Back in the 'Thunder Thursday' storm of 2011, a car got stuck in a flooded underpass under the A1 here and the stupid buggers climbed out onto the roof and phoned the fire brigade. When the fire brigade turned up the just walked out into the 2 foot of water and made them all climb off the roof into the water and walk out!
If you don't know the ford, don't go into the water.
Russian proverb.
Did that useless waste of space Policeman actually call out the fire brigade just to rescue someone from walking in half a foot of water on a road!!! What a waste of time and tax payers money, if he wasn’t an idiot in the first place the car wouldn’t have broken down!
Of course not ! It was 15CM of water, we are metric you know 😂
It was one meter
@@cutebaileygaming2113 you think that's a meter of water? It would be up to their waists if it was...
Thunderbirds are go. We have grandpa ankle deep by the church.
999 hello im a twat send a boat please. 😅
Glad I'm not the only one who thought the Mondeo rescue was massively over the top and they made themselves look quite silly. Surely it would have been safer just to tow the car out with driver remaining in his car. Then for the policeman to threaten the truck driver, ridiculous! 🤦♂️
IMO the Policeman should be sacked for wasting public money, the Fire Brigade praised as usual no prejudice and doing their job brilliantly as usual, and the old man sent on a driving course on how to drive through 6” of water.
Like you say, the fire brigade did a brilliant job, conducted themselves professionally ect… they were already on route when I arrived; I believe the police officers called them…🤷🏻♂️
@@bengregers was their any reason the old guy couldn’t just get out himself? Or was the Policeman just worried he may fall down a manhole or something?
That bloke in the rental van doesn’t know how lucky he is, anyone else and that would be hydro locked and game over
Well, there is likely irreparable damage to the engine, but it’s a rental, so yes, as long as he can get it back there….
he's lucky, cos the best off-road cars are:
1. company cars
2. rental cars
23 plate rental Citroen at the start, what a prat! Van is probably ruined.
make sure you ram the car in, you need to ensure to get the water over your bonnet and into your air filter to clean it 😂
Rev the engine to clear the excess water...
lol
i can only imagine how often he calls 999
2:50 playing submarine and afraid to get wet feets? WTF
Lol the fire service would see that as a training opportunity buuuuut I can imagine the piss taking they did back at station hahahaha
fire engine and crew ,2 cops ,for a ankle deep rescue ,then the mouthey cop threatens the lorry driver ,if you drive throu that i will give you a ticket ,,top class service all round , what a bunch
Great work as always Ben!
Thank you, I’ll keep documenting them for you across the country 👍🏼
I can't believe the police agreed to bring the fire service in to boat that guy out, what a waste of time and resources. If that guy didn't want to get his feet wet, he shouldn't have driven in.
Weapons, absolute weapons. 😂
How in the name of all that’s holy did the Jag make it?😮
Not driving like a twat.
Slowly slowly not fast as the water is pushed sideways and not into the engine bay.
Always worth a look at the excellent and entertaining Alan Howatt stripping down a Ford Mondeo, that ran for a few weeks before the bent con rod broke, before premature talk about anything making it.
That’s mega 😮😮😮😮 fire brigade too 😢 poor tax payers ❤
Crazy 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@@d1user adverts buddy😅 not tax payers. He earns via advertisement…and his hardly driving around in a lambo 🙈
от жэ веселуха! там нужно школу бродоведения открыть! what fun! We need to open a school for overcoming water obstacles there! and an engine repair shop. 😅 😅 😅
Loved the Enterprise Citroen van, wish it was sold here in the states.
Enterprise have been informed - the engine was trashed by the driver
Also ich finde es immer sehr spannend und höchst aufregend die Fahrer in ihren Fahrzeugen zu sehen😮 wenn sie sich selbst ihre Schande auf Video festhalten😂😂😂0.33
Brilliant video Ben 😊
Thank you Danielle 😊
*_И снова продолжение сериала ))"Тупой и ещё Тупее"))_*
I've been through deeper water than that in my Citroën Dispatch works van a few years ago.
What a clown.
6:52 The low slung power steering case fan got a good cleaning.😂
Я тоже вызываю спасателей когда засоряется раковина на кухне. Ведь, если вода перельётся на пол, то я могу намочить ноги.
I’m pretty sure the van shouldn’t smoke like that 😂😂😂😂
Not smoke, steam. The "workmen" fancied a brew.
I'll bet it was that cop who called trumpton out , rather than getting his trotters wet .
Still couldn't miss the opportunity to threaten a normal person !
Graba más en la zona donde sale el mini rojo... Mola mucho esa zona
“Move those cones and I’ll give you a ticket” 😂🤦♂️
It’s a Jaaaagggg
That'll cost them, Enterprise will charge them for all the repair as it's gross negligence on the part of the driver.
Boat rescue in 1 ft water ??
Hoping they'll charge the driver for this service😮
send him bill for £400
Also here in London you would never get that 1st class service from the Police and Fire Brigade , they would probably laugh and walk off lol
There goes his deposit (Enterprise)!
they need to use the rescue raft. is getting dusty. lol
ohhh noooo :D:D:D what a bell ends :D
I guess they won't pick you up 😂
oh well that hire van gonna be duff....take note of the reg
That Jag tho
A fire crew and rescue boat just because some bell end didn't want to get his feet wet? And he doesn't look even remotely embarrassed. If he was disabled it would be a different story, but he seems able to walk just fine once they've got him out of the flood. The firemen should have just left him there (though they are probably not allowed to do so), and sent him a huge bill for wasting their time.
Amazing how the fool is so completely insulated from the consequences of their actions in the ultimate evolution of the nanny state, which probably means we are very close to the extinction of that particular society.
It’s ridiculous
Люди глупеют и это правда.Любой катаклизм погубит глупых.
Do you have snow that far west over the weekend? Cheers Ben!
Not much snow here in the midlands, it’s mainly confined to the north so far
Oh my God, the water that Mondeo was in didn’t even reach half way up the wheels!! And they called the Fire Brigade to rescue him, I’m lost for words how pathetically woke and sad that really is. In the 80’s you would have got out and walked, amazing.
🤗👍🏻🤝🏻
Did you just use the word "woke" to describe a pensioner calling emergency services? Go touch some grass. 😂
Nope, in the 80's you would have had the sense to crawl through at a snails pace, or actually figure out it is probably safer to take an alternative, albeit longer route.
If you watch the clip you can see the police called the fire service. However there was no reason this man could not have made it to the other side himself, he had very good upper body strength and showed no issue with standing up or walking, just didn't want to get his feet wet.
Utter waste of tax payer's money.
I hope you sent that to Enterprise rent a car!
What a waste of emergency service time.
How over the top was that fire brigades rescue
4:00 Captain Picard saving an elderly man? Nice!
😂😂😂
Fun fact Patrick Stewart used to play a firefighter in Coronation Street in the 1960s before he went onto become the captain of the Enterprise
Was the last clip Rufford?
Yes it’s one that I hadn’t used from last year 👍🏼
@@bengregers thought it had reopened and there was a load of new videos coming our way!
There's no way he would have attempted that in his own van ,,,
He probably hired the van because he hydrolocked his own van going through a flood 😂
If someone from Enterprise is watching this, then the numpty is probably gonna get billed for a new engine.
Oh I've never seen Iveco firetruck in the UK! Must be rare, mostly I see Scanias, Mercedeses or Volvos.
And Dennis
The rescue tells any potential invading country all they need to know about the resilience of modern Britain.
Steam power, its the future !.
enterprise van driver was a right prat, how fast did he drive in.
😮 И лодка??.. За 30 сантиметра вода??.. Струва ли си даже да пиша??..😊
It's a rental car? Who cares...
£200 deposit would've been paid on that van. If that was me, I would care and would like my deposit back.
@@therandomchannel905 But the damage could cost 2.000-10.000 and 1-2 month repair time that cost the rental company much more.
they going to have a big bill from enterprise
The most riduculous waste of public money, just so a silly old gigt didn’t have to get his feet wet walking in 10” of water. I know how much it costs the fire setvice for each call out.
Far too many muppets have driving licences!
1 ex rental van for sale , never been flood damaged lol
Genuine question but,
Why were the Audi's rear wheels locked?
He must have applied the electric handbrake before it died completely. One of the joys of electronic modules for everything.
Likely electric parking brake applied itself
How red Jaguar survived??
Diesel engine and air intake is high up. Still lucky to get away with it though.
😂
imagine owning a car rental company and see one of your vehicles being killed in a deep ford ....
The 23 plate rented van, no deposit back looks like the engine is fubar ..... 😮
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
i will after do that if i ever decided to risk driving in the water and say im young but i don't want to get wet get a boat for me or im not going anywhere 🤣
What an absolute waste of the emergency services time.
police and fire fighters are a joke 🤣😂 this gov is a joke aswell 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kenilworth Castle ford my local ford. the water way through my back garden enters this river about mile further down. remember got to be 22 years ago me mates blocked the ford many times as should have pipes below road we went up river and everything enter the water it not take long before over the road pipes and railing blocked . bit weekend entertainment, few fords in area but never went to others that they quite country road, castle ford you can see double Decker buses get stuck as sure seen that few times. still do not get rescue tho, he was edges it was shallow, go towards middle then it could get dangerous esp is car floats under the path as metal railing so water trap you there, old guy was in no danger, well from the water at least. over years they installed bigger pipes under the road but still floods time to time, block pipes water flows over when younger gave us something to do dull wet weekends
straż pożarna przyjechała do człowieka , który jakby wysiadł z auto, to by miał wody troszkę powyżej buta
Oh, he couldn't walk out of there? What a waste of taxpayers' money! Well, but, being the UK, the water might be raw sewage. 😆
Brand new 23 plate Van ruined already
Ок, гугол, как включить нейтралку на немецкой машине.
sados
If the police let him get out of car and walk and he got hurt they would be held responsible
First attempt pulling the Audi out reminded me of the Chubby Brown joke, 'got me moneys' worth......kept me foot on the brakes'
Just wish the fire brigade were like some of the stretcher bearers you see trying to lift a stricken badly injured (aka crybaby), footballer and just tipping the whole thing over spilling the occupant straight out.
What a disgusting waste of public money. Someone could have needed that fire engine for a REAL emergency 🆘
He looked pretty capable to me, his only handicap was buying a Mercedes and driving into the water.
Are you talking about the old boy in the Ford in the ford?
Почему никто не осознаёт,что находятся в автомобиле,а не в моторной лодке???
What a waste of tax payers money
What a pathetic person is the one rescued from his car. Those emergency service workers should/could have been doing something way more serious. Guy should be ashamed and embarrassed.
The country has gone soft. Ridiculous. Plus 9/10 don't know how an engine works.
As if the fire brigade hasn’t got anything better to do than get some W⚓️out of his car because he didn’t want to get his feet wet.
Taxpayers funding the fire brigade to 'rescue' some muppet from getting his feet wet in 12 inches of water because he hasn't got enough common sense how to drive through a little water. People like this are why this country is in the financial state it is. Hope he got billed for wasting their time, but I expect he'll just be trying to up his benefits claim because of the stress and anxiety caused by nobody telling him not to drive fast through flood water. Should have left him where he was.
Had to laugh - sorry. A special boat for shin deep water, Cmon! This cloth eared coot, shouldn't be driving if he can't walk in that and also should have his licence taken off him for driving in flooded water to begin with. What a Circus.
The Enterprise van engine is now scrap value - driver dont care, aint his - what a racket, driven on starter motor
I'm not sure if the insurance would cover him though...
@@mikeh2006 i sent the video to Warwick Van Rentals office...
vehicle damage costs get passed on to us
What a waste of manpower.
That was an unwell Enterprise! What a foolish driver. If you put yourself into that position why drag the fire brigade into it? Get your feet wet and remember next time. It’s called life experience and should not be done at tax payers expense. Note no successful driver tried their brakes! Last clown had hand brake on during tow!
потом эти машины продадут в страны снг))
