I`m astounded that I saw a BMW driver who actually drove through a flood sensibly!
The unicorn of BMW drivers
Break My Water
Must be borrowed or hired or stolen, they will be using the indicators next.
I bet this same bmw driver also uses his indicators . One in a million 👍

hi
Shocking to call the fire brigade, water wasn't even above the sills!
what a joke this uk is getting
I think the fire brigade were there for other reasons, to manage the flooding probably.
@@youtube2kwatcher because one person phoned the fire brigade the country is a joke? Get out more.
they call fire brigade instead water brigade
1:44 smug 1:55 not so smug 😅
i love how in this world we have things like bird watching as well as other things ie watching mammals, insects, amphibians lizards and so on. But now we have Idiot watching. we need more of this.

Why would/should insurance cover this? It does not take much thought to realize this is a terrible idea.
hi
Most insurers do not cover
Insurance won't cover driving through deep water on purpose.
Insurance cover every claim I’ve seen on here the only time it’s been an issue is if they are third party only (Driving partners car)
NO they don't insurers use two categories re water ingress -
Avoidable flood damage: This is damage that you should have anticipated and taken steps to avoid happening.
Unavoidable flood damage: This is damage you wouldn’t have been able to predict or get away from.
Most flood damage is no fault of the owner and is therefore classed as unavoidable flood damage. This might include, for example, parking your car at home to find it flooded in a sudden storm or by torrential rain.
But, if you left your car at the bottom of a harbour slipway and it submerged, your insurer is likely to classify it as avoidable damage. This means you’re unlikely to get a car insurance payout.
Similarly, driving through a flooded street and finding the water is deeper than you anticipated is likely to be considered as avoidable flood damage@@Discoveryjamie
These never get old.
hi
It's like playing Russian Roulette.
Thanks for all the entertainment you have provided this year.
Thank you for watching. Merry Xmas 🎄🍻
Did they seriously get a fire engine in at 4:00 for water that didn't even reach the door sills?!
what a joke the world is getting
The lady driver should've been charged for this.
Good evening Bengregers. I wish you a Merry Christmas! 🎅 Liked video! 👍
Thank you, merry Christmas 🎄
Where Ilive some roads flood when the tide comes in, but people still plough through the salt water which will rapidly cause corrosion problems.
Others park on the road near warning signs advising that the road floods at high tide, and come back to seeing their car floating away.
Brilliant !
Merry Christmas watching from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Merry Christmas Nick, thanks for the support as always 🎄

Moral of the story.
Buy a Japanese car generally or a Range if you think it will make it the 2 miles down to the stream & a half mile out the other side to your kid's private school. 👍
Sometimes I wonder if the Land Rover owners are aware that just because it is one doesn’t mean you drive it like a tank on the battle field. But go off, swing for the fences.
Never a problem for the landed gentry in their Range Rovers.
Don't you believe it when you see where the main ECU is located on range rovers
Thanks for featuring Trescott Ford. I'm fairly local to it and it always catches people unaware. Even I got caught out in my little four wheel drive when the person in front drove through at speed with a trailer and I got totally swamped by the twenty foot wake it threw up!!!
Happy Christmas Ben 🏴👍
Merry Christmas Ben! 🎄

Hello Ben. Merry Christmas and happy New Year form Canada 🇨🇦.

Really great, as usual! Merry Christmas to you, Ben!
Fast speeds will allow your engine a full helping of that lovely water.
should i speed up when i see water? I drive a bmw
Maybe they think it will give their engine a nice wash and make it all clean and shiny?🤣
Merry Christmas Ben 👍
Land rovers are amazing. Don't remember failed one

I remember that first Beemer, wasn't it the oil slick one? 😮
Yep, he ripped his sump off & filled the river with oil…🤦🏻♂️
Worse than I thought !!!
Seriously???@@bengregers
@@pipandbenji yep, there was a large oil slick under the engine, where it died, running into the river :[
What kind thoughtful people these youtubers are to stand there filming people instead of warning them they cant get through, costing people thosands of pounds for a few pence of youtube should be ashamed of yourselves
The guy lost the front of the car but didn’t know and was smiling for the camera:)
I think the AA/RAC should refuse to tow the car if they see it's been driven through a ford and it's down to the reckless driver's fault they grind to a sudden halt. A genuine breakdown could be waiting for recovery and have to wait due to peoples stupidity.
The thing is, a lot of other breakdowns are caused by stupidity as well (playing petrol station roulette, ignoring horrific noises and warnings from the car to stop driving etc. etc.).
AA employee - we don’t. It’s classed as an RTA not a breakdown, so we advise to ring insurance companies or accident assist and the member will have to pay for recovery.
If the vehicle is still in water then we won’t attend it if the water’s deeper than ankle depth, either get it out or wait for the water level to drop
@@dannymaskell4923 Interesting that it's considered an RTA
@@dannymaskell4923 all aa and rac guys refuse to enter the water. The contract guys jump in. You know the type 😜
I agree. the UK needs to adopt the turn around don't drown philosophy.
Brilliant video as always
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Would you be insured for this? I would have thought that came under "driver negligence?"

Remember folks, not even BMW's can compress water. 🤣
When you see the dreaded white smoke 🤦🏼♂️
The Ford not far from Bridgnorth…. Seen a few cars die there lol money can’t buy sense 💯🙈🤣
Truth! Merry Christmas!
I’ve seen a few in Trescott too aha, always an entertaining spot to film 😂👍🏼

Fools😂😂
Thought the bloke at 1:27 was about to be squashed......moronic situation both him and the driver.
Oh dear! Many vehicles have their engine air intake positioned low down, often just behind a front wheel. In normal driving a bit of damp in the intake air helps with the internal combustion. In standing water the intake is likely to suck far too much water up into the engine. The engine will jam and expensive internal parts (con rods, crankshaft) may well get bent out of shape. The car is likely to be a write off due to the expense of repairing it. Don't risk it!
Not to mention the damage the car interior receives.
should i speed as I drive a bmw?
A bit of damp in the intake air helps with the internal combustion? Where the hell did you hear that nonsense, or did you just dream it up yourself?
Mind numbing stupidity………. which has been paying my bills since 1989 🙂🇬🇧
“Hello, Recovery…………”🎉
The *Eastern Europeans* on one of the first clips weren't too sure if they had insurance.....🤔
Car insurance? .......😬
1:27 How did he not hydrolock?
So... is this Rufford Ford now open again...🤔😃
The decision is going to be made in a few weeks time. Looks like it’s being permanently closed though.
Why not build a bridge over it? Don't have to be too complicated. If it's the skill to that is lacking, take in people and companies from countries where they can build them.
Ohh I forgot, brexit, no furraighn workers.
@@hasse102absolutely not worth the cost. This is not a main route in any way and is merely a local lane. Ford flooded then go round. Not rocket science.
@@jonreid7957 Around here in Finland bridges are built even on private roads but maybe in the modern world people are more careful with their cars and equipment.
And on public roads it would just be unthinkable to not build a bridge.
@@hasse10211 months of the year it is either dry or very low. Its only an issue for idiots.
If the water level gets to six foot on the marker board we will still see people trying to cross.... 😅 submarines anyone.
6:18 he was on his phone
they enter and go to fast ,not more then 10-15kmh thru water
Amazing that they don't have the skills to build bridges over these kind of places in england. But maybe it have to be like in the 1600 when horses managed so now cars with many horses have to manage too.
Never seen anything like it in other countries exept the underpasses where the drainage might freeze in the spring but that is not a common thing.
We have lots of low lying land in the UK countryside. These roads are a hundred years old and rarely flood so don't justify the cost of bridges. Besides there is always an alternative route.
@@bikeman123 Still, if a road is flooded once or twice in a developed country there will be a bridge over that place.
There would be a million bridges for the occasional car. UK suffers flooding especially now, and most of the times these roads are clear.
Typical dumb comment from USA, the country that don't bridges high enough
In a developed country people would make sure to warn drivers to save on all those engines and other tech instead of longing for a few views from disaster tourists like us on a video platform. (That's the real waste of resources, not the sending of the fire brigade)
@@theproducertm in a developed country we assume people have a basic education. If you are American remember your coffee cups have, contents may be hot, and packets of peanuts have, may contain nuts, and car level 2 automation require enhanced warning that you need to actually need to be aware and alive
Remember that 50% of the population of every country has below average Sense and intelligence and the USA does not have a great average on international scales.
It's surely on purpose
It gets dark at the end
People with land rovers an toe ropes

Greetings from germany
Why do so many people do this?

The slower your drive the water will be pushed away from the car
but I read for the bmw i should speed up?
why would you ask if you got insurance thats nothing to do with breakdown and why would you contact insurance for a cheap banger right off the excess be like £300 no point as they would give you £600 for the polo and they must of got it fixed has insurance is on it
Because breakdown needs to be arranged via insurance. Aa cover does not cover water damage. That classed as rta
I think they need to run how to drive through and when not to drive through deep water courses in the South of England. Unbelievable stupidity.
i like it when they believe they are cool, but their piston rods disagree with that
Physics doesn't lie!
No sympathy for these fools who willingly fuck up a perfectly good car
Sorry, but unless you’ve got a proper 4x4, you have no business going near water that high in a car.
i thought all bmw’s where built to handle water like a 4x4?, it was the main reason why i bought one.
